I took my boots in to get new souls put on and he ruined my boots I tried to take them in to get them fixed and he cussed me out told me to leave his store I paid him $170 which I could've bought a new pair of boots but he ruined them now they are unwearable

This guy is nothing but a drama queen. I did not "ruin" his boots. The boots were trashed when he brought them to me. I put new soles and heels on them, replaced the insoles, put new leather and toe covering on the outside, all in two days, because he "needed " them for work. He didn't come back for a week to pick them up. The leading edge of the heel was .25' too high to be perfectly level. I corrected it for free.This is not unusual and many guys wear their boots this way and are happy with it.Many boots come this way from the manufacturer. He texts me and tells me his boots are like walking on high heels and he is walking on his toes. The entire height of the heel I used was 3/4''. Does this sound like he was exaggerating much? Do you think he is exaggerating in this complaint when he says "I ruined his boots and they are unwearable"?He told me that I don't know what I am doing and that he was going to take me to court. I have worked on boots for forty years. Does anyone think that I don't know what I am doing fixing boots? Exaggerating much? I think, if he is an expert, then he should have done the job himself. Or maybe he doesn't know what he is talking about. I don't need customers like this, so if you are unhappy everyplace you go with anything people try to do for you, then I don't want you as my customer. Look I do the best I can, And I am very good at what I do.
