I called Eyman for a leak near my dishwasher. Came out and kept saying need a new dishwasher. So instead I got a new garbage disposal which I did need for over $400 bill. But that didn’t fix the leak. I called them again and said it was a recall visit and the guy charged me again $77 for absolutely nothing. He looked under my sink and ran some water in sink and no leak. Wasn’t even here maybe twenty minutes or less. I don’t feel I should have been charged the second time. Not calling them again. He kept saying I need a new dishwasher because it was an old washer. I ran it while he was here and there was nothing wrong with it.Eyman Plumbing Heating & Air Response

Jeanne, we are sorry but we were not aware you weren't 100% satisfied with the work you received at the time of service. As you state, we were dealing with two different issues, trying to trouble shoot the dishwasher not draining properly and replacing your inoperable garbage disposal, which could have also been preventing the dishwasher from draining. While you now have a properly functioning disposal, unfortunately it did not resolve your dishwasher draining issue. Due to its age, our Tech recommend the dishwasher for replacement, or that you contact an appliance repair company since we do not service actual appliances. The return call (and half hour charge) was not actually a "call back", as the tech found everything working correctly with original install of the garbage disposal. We do appreciate your business though, so now that we are aware of your concern, we will reach out to you directly to see if we can work out an amicable solution.Review from Erin C

I do not recommend this place for service. I had a main drain issue that was supposed to have been handled through the home warranty that my husband and I had at the time. Ben ***** was recommended to me by a family member. He finds out that the problem, he fixes what he thought was the problem. He took a camera down our pipes, after resolving what we thought we had being clogged pipes, he then found our pipe leading from under our house cracked and broken in 14 different places. He recommended we contact ***** plumbing and get an estimate and take this to our home warranty. We did everything he asked us, he assured us we would not get ripped off and we would get good service. After finding out we needed to get in contact with our home owners insurance and having ***** start the job, we were told by Jake of Jack, I cannot remember the guy in charge of estimates name, that it would cost us $4,000 for them to dig up the pipe and place the new pipe. We were told by our insurance that ***** is not laying the cement. It not only took them 2 trips that they did charge us for, but they kept rescheduling the appointment. They not only rescheduled over and over but then they would not send us the bill for over a month. When we got the bill instead of that bill being $4000 they charged us $7000. Which they could not explain when I asked to speak with a manager why they are charging for an entire job that they did not do. I asked Ben how much should we have gotten charged because he is part owner of this company and he told us $4000. My husband and I felt so disrespected and cheated words cannot describe how I really feel. We at the very least expected to get refunded for their not only poor service and poor management. But instead we got cheated. We felt paying the $4000 was very fair because that is the amount of work they did, which included digging up the cement, taking out the old pipe and placing the new pipe. In the end they did not care who sent us and they took $$$.Eyman Plumbing Heating & Air Response

Eyman Plumbing Inc is having difficulty with the posting by Erin ***** due to the facts surrounding this situation. Prior to any work being performed a written proposal was submitted by Eyman Plumbing to Ms ***** in the amount of $7,265.84 plus tax. The written proposal for $7,265.84 plus tax was sent to ***** on 2/15/2021 and Ms ***** signed it on 3/11/2021. The written proposal included concrete removal, pipe replacement and concrete replacement. Eyman Plumbing was requested to itemize the concrete work from the plumbing prior to Ms ***** signing the proposal. The amount for the work performed never changed. On 3/17/2021, Eyman Plumbing notified Ms ***** there would be a delay in performing the service due to a retaining wall that had fallen and blocked the ***** driveway. Eyman Plumbing incurred expenses for not being able to timely proceed but did NOT pass on these additional charges to Ms. *****. Once the driveway was cleared, Eyman Plumbing returned and performed the work. Eyman Plumbing invoiced Ms ***** upon completion 3/31/2021 in the amount of $6591.64 which was lower than the signed proposal. Eyman Plumbing was paid for the services 4/5/2021. Now, on August 10, 2022, Eyman Plumbing is just learning about the concerns of Ms *****.Customer Response

First off I am Mrs. *****, not Ms.*****. I am a married woman. Second of all I have the bills that shows from our insurance of our home that stated they did the cement replacement. You are liars and rip artist. I had to keep calling to even get a new estimate and got the run around. I finally contacted the person in charge of doing estimates only to find out he had Covid. No new estimate was fone like i wanted. I had to keep calling to get someone to come out to even start the job. I even know this for a fact because I yelled at one person in the phone about how horrible the service is. It took you 2 months to send us a bill for a partial job because you made sure to charge us for the entire job. I know this because I had to argue that you did not everything that you are charging us for. The guy in charge of doing the laying of the pipe work told us how much that bill was supposed to be. Which was supposed to have been 2000 less than what was charged. Instead you decided to rip us off. I am so upset beyond belief.
A refund would have been good but since no one wanted to make this right I knew making the post about what I went through and how I was recommended to Eyman would make this be something to let others know to stay award of companies that will charge for work hey did not do and also give the run around in poor customer service as well. I may have dealt with Eyman's company in March of 2021 but I dealt with the person that recommended us first. He is better than the company. I would deal with Ben any day over dealing with a company that did the exact opposite of what he said they would do.Review from Chelsea B

Our kitchen sink was stopped up so our landlord called eyeman. Eyeman showed up went to the basement where the pipes are and used a snake on it, well he broke the pipe. (He told us he broke the pipe) but yet eyeman refuses to take responsibility for it. The plumber said that a guy would be out to give us an estimate on replacing it, because it consists of having to dig through concrete well nobody ever showed up and they refuse to return the landlords call. We have had other plumbers come out to the house who agreed that eyeman did break the pipe but they don't want to tackle the project either but luckily we found a plumber who is going to fix what eyeman broke after having been almost a week without being able to use my kitchen sink.
