I have received 9 pieces of unsolicited advertising within the past few weeks from this company in my mailbox. It is an unwelcome level of mail. I'm tired of throwing away useless advertising from them and wish to have my name and address removed from whatever list they use to deliver advertising. I have been returning this unwelcome advertising by writing "Refused" on the envelope and putting back into the mail to be returned. Apparently they don't understand that I'll never be a customer and they need to stop sending me mail.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/25) */ We appreciate the BBB for reaching out and sharing this citizen's concern regarding our marketing pieces. For over two years, Complete Hearing has utilized an external marketing firm to execute and mail our designed marketing pieces. We utilize both our database and purchased zipcode mailers which are public information. The citizen arising the complaint is not a patient of ours, thus they are not receiving mailers due to our private database. The citizen in question is receiving mailers via bulk labeled mail due to being on a public mailing list. We suggest going to DMAChoice.org and opt out of marketing materials. It would have been nice to receive a phone call from this citizen as we along with our marketing firm have a list that is specific to our practice and removes the individual from the public mailing list specific to Complete Hearing. The reason we did not receive any mail back when this individual wrote "refused" on the marketing piece is due to the fact that USPS does not return bulk mail (if it were first class it would have been) - thus it was disposed of by the USPS and never returned to us. We apologize for any frustration our marketing may have caused and hope we have offered a solution for this person. Please note we have added this individual to our do not mail list, but this is specific to Complete Hearing and they should also pursue removing their name above for any other pieces of solicitation they wish to not receive from other businesses.
