We originally hired this company in September of 2021 to complete a replat of our property. When we spoke in September of 2021, the business made it clear that this would be a 3-4 month process, which we understood with the city needing to be involved. In October of 2021, a month after we initially hired K&M, I hadn't heard anything so I reached out for an update. Over the next 4 months, I left multiple voicemails to obtain an update on a job that was originally supposed to take 3-4 months and we were now 5 months into a project with zero update or communication on where the project stood. On February 17, 2022, I reached out to the company again, via email, asking that I hear back within the next 24 hours or I would move on another contractor to complete the project. I did actually hear back this time with a response and plans for the project that we needed to file with the city. We then went and did our part and filed the documents and plans with the city and paid several hundred dollars to file the proper permits and received the confirmation from the city on March 24, 2022 that they are ready to proceed. We have now yet to receive any of the work that we contracted them for as of Dec 23, 2022. I have emailed on April 5, 2022, April 12, 2022, and May 2nd, 2022 to which I finally received a response stating he would be working on it later that day. Since then I have called more than 20 times, left as many voicemails and emailed an additional 6 times, in addition to the city planner reaching out and have not heard anything. We have wasted more than 12 months of time on a project that should have taken 1/4 of that, and have thrown away hundreds of dollars in filing fees with the city for absolutely no reason and to be met with zero response to any communication. We simply want the project to be finished or be reimbursed for our wasted fees.
