I bought a truck from them, and they told me I can only get only approved for 20,000 but it turns that i paid 24,000 for it and the truck is only worth 17,000, got huge scammed, paperwork only showed 19,000 with warranty but after I called the bank, I apparently paid 24,000 for it and didn't know it.

The customer purchased the vehicle for $19,991. then purchased a service contract for $3,000 and gap insurance for $795. Which was explained to the customer. The customer said they are from Kansas, and that is not how it works there. We offered to buy the unit back for $17,000 and have cancelled the service contract and gap. When this was all explained to the customer they were fine with all of this. However, they said their father was not happy. We let them know we do not sell a vehicle to someone with the intent of buying it back in 3 months time.

I took my Hyundai Elantra to be looked at due to my car running sluggish and difficulty starting. I was sent a very vague text program just telling me what the cost of my repair would be and not was wrong or what they checked. The cost was $10,000 dollars. I was in shock! I attempted to contact Kyle who helped in the morning but was unsuccessful, so I ended up going to the dealership to get an explanation. I was told that I needed a new engine due to my piston rings not working properly and that the engine was causing blow by with exhaust. I couldn't believe it. They said I needed a new engine. I was upset and already having a bad day. Another guy tried to explain it to me. Seeing how upset I was he tried to sympathize with me but promptly took me to a salesman to see about trading in my car or to look for another car. I didn't get offered anything for my car which supposedly needed a new engine. I didn't buy a car that day either. I later attempted to talk to the mechanic about how he determined this by just driving my car by himself. I was not told what diagnostics he used to determine this. I also attempted to talk to the store manager, and he did not appear to want to help other than emphasize that he was trained Hyundai mechanic like he couldn't have made any mistakes in diagnosing what was wrong with my car. I had asked about filling a claim with Hyundai. He didn't appear to want to do that because they would have to tear apart my car and I would have to at least pay for the labor. He said I could get a second opinion in which I did. I went to a very trustworthy, well experienced mechanic that I have used in the past. The problem was a crankshaft position sensor. The cost $213.61! My car runs perfectly now. What kind of business are they running and trying to take advantage of people? When will this stop? They continue to hurt their business by doing this. I don't think I will be coming back because I cannot trust what they tell me.

I went to the dealership- I drove the vehicle I was interested in - this vehicle had a 6000 dollar off tag in the window. When they put the bid together- 4700. They would not honor the tag in the window. So even with all the money off - my trade in value of the car it was the price of the car anyway.

Prior to today, I thought this was the best automotive service department in Lincoln, however, when I called to schedule my 2016 Buick Enclave into the shop to get a leak found & corrected, I was promptly informed I'd be charged a $150 diagnostic fee to determine the cause of my leak. I explained I have been a loyal Sid Dillon customer for over 12 years and had never paid a diagnostic fee to get my vehicle serviced. The reply was that I'd have to pay the fee to determine where the leak was coming from. So, I called ********, explained my vehicle has developed a leak & was told to bring the vehicle by so they could put it up on a hoist to see where the leak was coming from. I took the vehicle to them & about 20 minutes later I was told the leak was caused by a loose oil filter, it was tightened, oil level was checked, all at NO CHARGE. This filter would have been last touched by a Sid Dillon Service Tech when the oil was last changed. Sorry to say, I can no longer recommend your service department.

      Bob,
My apologies, we did not provide you a better experience. Hopefully, having worked with us for so long, you will agree, we generally, take really good care of people, so hopefully, you can think about all the wonderful experiences you have had rather than this one sub par experience. Thank you for the feedback, and your continued business. Any questions or comments please call me. Thank you.

Your reply hardly addresses the main issue. Am I to expect to pay $150 every time I schedule my vehicle in for service? Is there a way to avoid this "Diagnostic Fee? What would you do if the leak was caused by your not installing the new oil filter correctly? Would I still be charged the $150 Diagnostic Fee? I won't be back if you don't provide the correct answers to my questions.

if we had looked at it, and determined it was our fault you would not be charged diagnostic. Our people try to be very upfront about the diag fee, so that you do not get here and then it gets dropped on you. I understand you are frustrated, and again, apologize. You do not have a diagnostic fee if you are just doing an oil change and regular service, diag fee is when we have to diagnose a problem.
