              Dr. Wood sent a letter to my 83-year-old mother telling her he would no longer be caring for her macular degeneration after she has spent the last 14 years with his father as her provider then when he retired she transitioned to the son, Dr. Wood. My mother requires eye shots every 5-6 weeks to retain what little vision she has. She is the sweetest, kindest person. After her last visit, he sent a certified letter to her stating he would no longer be providing care for her with no explanation. I called left messages for a return call (as her POA) and sent a letter which he never replied. Completely unacceptable for someone who trusted you as their provider to do such a thing. Dr. Wood should be ashamed for treating an elderly person who has patroned your practice for 14 years in this manner.
