K2 contracted work with the city of Hooper, NE and said they would restore the yards. They have attempted however, this is what they left me with. I would like them to restore my yard or to reimburse me to restore my yard.

This Complainant has reached out to us via ******** messenger, we responded letting her know someone would be reaching out to her.  The Project Manager, Erosion Control Manager and Owner called her in a conference call to discuss this issue with her, letting her know that we have seeded her yard twice and per the contract with the city it is the residents responsibility to water the seed to endure it grows.  She said that she had her yard guy come out right after we seeded the first time to spray.  We let her know that we would her out there again, put new top soil on the yard and reseed but she needed to make sure we watered so the grass would have the best enviroment to grow in.  She seemed fine and understanding after this phone call 7/10/23 at 8:00 am.

So on Monday may 1st my girlfriend was driving home and had called me while I was at work and had told me that one of the construction workers who was picking up cones had kicked it under the car while she was moving. I had asked if it looked intentional and she said she wasn’t sure but as soon as it went under the car completely all the other workers around laughed and walked away. One of the employees was nice enough to get it out from under the car as my girlfriend had people honking at her because there was only 1 lane. I’ve tried multiple times to reach out to the company and the reception lady ** **** **** *** laughs every time I try and call about it. I’ve been trying to get in contact with hr for about 3 weeks now and still nothing. I had called again on may 15th and the reception lady continued to laugh as I explained what happened and then said “are you done yet” and sent me to a voicemail. I asked if there was anyone that supervised her and she said “no you’re talking to me” I have a damaged car because of the cone and just want it fixed or at the bare minimum someone who isn’t gonna be rude to call me so we can figure it out. The way the lady was on the phone is very disrespectful and super unprofessional. For a multi million dollar company this is no way to treat someone who was impacted by the employees that work on our road ways

On Tuesday, May 9th we received a phone call from Jayson stating that his girlfriend had hit a cone.  At that time we passed it along to the Project Manager of that division to give him a call and see what was going on as well as I reached out to Jayson letting him know that the PM would be giving him a call.  Chad tried to call him and never received a call back until May 15th when Jayson called again stating that he had been leaving voicemails for HR and no one was returning his call,  no voicemails were received but at that time we called the PM and asked him to get in contact with Taylor, Jayson's girlfriend.  They were contacted and met the PM down at the jobsite to walk through what happened as it was not making any sense to him over the phone.  The PM then asked Jayson and Taylor to contact him directly if they had any more questions and as they had his number.   He has not ever heard back from Taylor or Jayson

K2 did some construction on ********** in **********. Our house is driveway emptied into the street. Without communicating with us very well, they built a temporary road which essentially trapped us in our driveway. We did not have room to get out in suffered damage to some of our vehicles. After ignoring my calls and emails for months, I finally got through to Andrea the HR manager. Speaking to her we had a understanding, she told me she would open a claim for us through her insurance which resulted in a different story and a denial. Do not do business with these people, they do not take accountability.

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/12/06) */ When I was contacted by Mr. ****** and made aware of the incident, I immediately reported the matter to our insurance company. The claim representative then reached out to Mr. ****** for additional information. He had included some photographs of the damage to his vehicles; however, the claims adjuster asked for photographs of the temporary drive that they had been using. The claims adjuster needs to determine what obstacle they hit, whether or not our company placed it there, and whether or not the placement met the city's specifications. She also requested that he send her the address of the incident. Mr. ****** has never responded to any of these requests for information. This lack of response has made it impossible for the insurance company to resolve this issue. Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/12/07) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I called K2 several times, and finally on my 4th time I was able to speak to Andrea, the first several calls went unreturned. My girlfriend also sent an email with pictures to the damage of our vehicles that also went unreturned. I just sent Lena a response again, at no point has she requested pictures, I provided them in a follow up to a letter that our claim had been denied, and provided her with the address, again, upon her request. She has not at this time asked for any additional photos from me. I have the email chain between myself and Lena and am happy to provide it to show that I was not asked for pictures and have complied with the insurance companies request. The communicated with K2 from the beginning has been a joke and this all could have been avoided if we had been communicated with. We just want our damaged vehicles fixed Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2021/12/15) */ After I spoke with Mr. ****** regarding the damage to his vehicles, I submitted this information to our insurance company, *****. Lena *******, the claims representative handling this claim, then reached out to Mr. ****** requesting further information. Specifically, she asked him to provide the exact address of where the incident took place and photographs of the drive itself. Mr. ****** hasn't provided any of this information. Because of this, ***** has been unable to determine what Mr. ****** and his family struck with their vehicles and whether or not our company is at fault in this matter.
