I wouldn't even give it a 1 star to be honest! You pay a security Deposit and it shouldn't be called a deposit if you will never see that money again...They should just call it a FEE because you aren't getting it back!!! My daughter lived here left her apartment spotless, didn't receive her deposit! I lived there shortly after and paid animal fee and security deposit. Left my apartment spotless, a few weeks prior to move out they said they needed to do a "pre move out inspection" and when they came they told me how everything looked good and clean and how my apartment smelled very nice.. Which Confuses me as to why I'm not getting my security deposit back as well! Their excuse was because the carpets were ruined from a pet....So this must be how they are affording to update their apartments! Ripping people off and saying there were damages so they don't have to pay for updates to their apartments themselves! Not to mention my Ems animal was in his pet porter when I went to work or the store. He was always by my side, and is potty trained.. Not to mention the halls always smelled like weed and where very dirty. I called the office many times and told them Others weren't picking up after their animals and I had stepped in poo one day coming into my apartment because another tenant didn't pick up after their dog..I called the office and asked if they could send out a friendly reminder....And now I have to pay to replace their carpets... Pool was always out of order and chained shut in the summer because of " the chemicals in the pool where off" and if the pool was open it was always dirty and big globs of hair in the pool... Ive always had great experiences with ALL of my past landlords. Its very hard for me to except that I they are making me pay in $500 after taking my deposit to replace their carpets that my animal DIDNT destroy.. I hope that others read this and dont get taken??
