Union Title Company is HORRIBLE - specifically ***** ***********. She was outrageously rude and disrespectful to myself and my 87 year old grandmother during the purchase of a home. This woman not caused us to go through a probate (costing us $12,000+ in attorney fees). She failed to communicate during this, and only when I received closing documents - did I find out. She required follow up to set appointments and send pre-closure documents to people. She also did not do her job in making absolutely sure that the documents and the numbers were accurate. When my elderly grandmother went to sign documents the numbers were wrong - which was not her fault - but how she behaved when I voiced my concern was OUTRAGEOUS! She insinuated multiple that I was dumb, and that I didn't know what was going on. She unduly pressured my elderly grandmother to sign documents that weren't accurate. I had to tell my grandmother to leave the office because of how this woman was acting. ***** *********** then proceeded to call my lending agents and complain to them about us not closing that day! Furthermore, she was rude and disrespectful to my lending agents! This made such an impact on me and my family that at the last minute we chose to use a different title company all together! She could no longer be trusted to have accurate documents for us to sign. The final straw to me filing this complaint came, when Union Title Company refused to pay THEIR notary vendor and sent them to us for $275 in payment! UNBELIEVABLE!! Not only did she act completely unreasonably, did not accurately do her job in making sure the documents are right before anyone signed, but now we are expected to pay $275 because of this! Everyone deserves to know what they are getting into when using Union Title and more specifically ***** ***********.Business response

Upon notification of the customer’s concerns, Union Title Company LLC acted immediately with good faith to resolve the concern. Payment was issued to the vendor for resolution, in response to the customer’s complaint and desired settlement of billing adjustment. The invoice was paid by credit card on Friday, June 28, 2024. Attached is the receipt of payment. I believe the BBS now has their records up to date.Customer response
