Weathercraft did some siding and roof work for us as a result of hail damage.The roof replacement was well done. The siding repair was poor. Mr. ******** said he would correct the siding and facia problems. He promised to do this many times over the course of several months. However the workers never showed up as promised and contacting Mr. ******** was next to impossible. In the course of trying to contact Mr. ******** his two assistance were very professional and sympathetic and apologetic to the situation. The few times I was able to contact Mr. ******** he always made new promises which he never kept. Finally I gave up and had another company do the work which was is completed.
Bottom line Weathercraft/******** does not do what he says he is going to do. I had a good early experience turn into a nightmare.

Weathercraft completed installing a new roof, metal roof, gutters and siding for Mr. ******. All the work was completed to his satisfaction. At the end of the project, Mr. ****** called and asked us to replace a siding corner that was damaged from a lawn mower that wasn't a part of the original agreement. He said we had done enough work for him that we should do it for free. I agreed to do it, but explained it would be a while and we could do it when we were in the area. After a period of time and a wind storm, a piece of fascia and a piece of siding blew off. Mr. ****** informed me of this and I said we could do replace it with the corner under warranty. He also wanted to adjust the gutters we installed, which we promptly completed. We, like many other companies, are having trouble hiring and maintaining crew during the COVID pandemic. For our company it manifested itself in our ability to get to small siding projects. We still have Mr. ****** material in our warehouse. Weathercraft has hired two more siding crews and are attempting to get caught up. As Mr. ****** has stated, we still have long term experienced workers for roofing and gutters and we do an excellent job. We have been in business for 45 years and I believe this to be an outlier in the over 600 customers we complete work for every year. I am sorry that Mr. ****** experience turned out poorly.

The issue in a nut shell was a complete lack of communication on getting the work completed. This has gone on for over a year. I made many many calls to Mr, ********** office. to get status. The few times I got a response with a time period nothing happened. I stated many times I would pay whatever the cost ... in particular the fascia and later the piece of siding which blew off I needed fixed before the wind woild do more damage. I am empathetic to Mr, *********** labor problems. If he would have just told me he couldn't do the work in a timely manor, I would understand. I don't understand the lack of communication. I regret our relationship with Weathercraft ended on a negative.
