My spouse had an emergency root canal Sat. Jan 27. He was told they couldn't run the insurance since it was a weekend (**** *** ********** *** *****. He paid a total of $2,135 that day. I've been in touch with **** since I couldn't get a straight answer from billing. They were paid $976.43 by **** and the checks had cleared on Feb 26. The EOBs show we only owed $172.31. I was told once that the money would be automatically refunded AFTER they were paid by insurance; but today was told they only issue refunds once a month (great practice) and it will be the end of March before the refund is issued. She told me to be sure to call if I don't received it at the end of March; why so you'll assure me that you'll refund the $1,962.69 overpayment in April? HORRIBLE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!

My husband was seen on 3/17 and 3/18 of 2023. He had to have 2 teeth extracted. I paid $1755.00. Emergency Dental was supposed to submit claim to my dental insurance. There billing department never answers the phone. They were paid by my insurance $101 on May 4th and $548 on 12/4/23. They reimbursed me on 1/22/24 for 235.80. They owe me $414 and I can not get an answer from them after calling multiple times. I have documentation of my calls and payments They have received. This is so unethical.

I needed an emergency crown on 3/10/23. I was asked to pay $1832.00 and did so via my debit card. I do have BCBS NE dental insurance. I realize now I should have never paid this because the I should have waited for the claim to be considered. Months went by and I never received an eob showing how much I would owe in addition to what I paid on the date of service. My wife called BCBS dental to see if there was any claim on file. There was not. BCBS called the office & asked them to file the claim. Suddenly I received an eob dated 11/16/23 stating I owe nothing because the timely filing limit was exceeded. Today I received another 'balance forward' statement for over $500.00. This cannot be accurate because the claim was denied in full. Today my wife called BCBS again today and spoke with **** Call ref# ********* She called the billing office @ 4** *** **** and spoke to ******* ****** said she was NOT going to refund my money and that the claim was filed multiple times. There is NO proof at BCBS of this. ****** said their contract had a 12 month timely filing limit. *** said the standard is 120 day timely filing and she would have to fill out the timely filing form with proof of previous claims within the 120 days. ****** said she won't do that. I cannot be billed for ANY of the charged per contract. I need my money back and they need to cease balance billing me which is also against contract.

I had an appointment for 1 pm. I was not called back until after 2. I had a scan done around 2:15 and waited for the X-rays to be done. By 3:15, I was able to secure an appointment at a different dental office. When I asked for a refund, I was told to call corporate because the $*** had already been charged and taken out of my bank account! After going to the other dentist and being there for an hour, I had an exam, X-rays, treatment plan, and tooth extraction!

I went in to Emergency Dental for tooth ache Had x rays done, x rays show my partial was intact when I went in to their office The x ray tech broke the metal upright on my partial The local and corporate office are in denial when it's clear on my x rays I need my partial replaced at this point. If they do not replace it at their expense I will be forced to notify my attorney and file a suit. They are not following standard business practices, they deny before they even looked at x rays, Stephanie at the corporate office doesn't listen and just talks over you, I talked louder to tell her to stop talking over me, explained it's rude and she said she won't talk to me with my attitude. I guess pointing out basic phone etiquette is a bad attitude. ******************************************************************** I've never seen or heard of such a poorly run business who cannot or will not accept responsibility for the actions of their employees. Thank you

on September 21 emergency dental performed a dental procedure cleaning and exam and build my insurance company which was paid for under my insurance policy. Emergency dental sent the money back to the insurance company for reasons that are unknown and decided to charge me the patient I have told them on several occasions that the bill needs to go to the insurance company they say since it was their mistake it doesn't matter that I was responsible for the bill and then I could settle up with my insurance company all they are doing is being difficult very unprofessional and the business needs to be closed down.
