      This company is a scam. They pose as the venues website; a direct website for the venue itself. I was sold tickets to an event. The event/venue said they don't accept the tickets I provided to them and stated it was a scam. They only accept tickets purchased on their website. This company posed as the venue's website. I purchased 3 tickets; we were unable to attend the event due to the scam of this website. When calling the company after not being able to attend the event, the man who answered the phone didn't give me a chance to speak. He had a one line comment I'm certain he says all day long for his con artist scams, "I'm a broker from Miami and hung up the call". I looked up the company on the BBB and the company is not an accredited company. There are numerous complaints about the con artist this company/broker/owner is.

      Box Office Ticket Sales is a leader in the event ticket space, assisting over 250,000 customers a year experience the thrill of live events. We can see that our customer was sent tickets the day of their purchase which the downloaded, they again downloaded the tickets the day of their event on 8/10/24. All tickets sold through our website are guaranteed and there is not a shred of doubt that these tickets were genuine and valid for entry into the event. it should be noted we received zero communication from our customer about any issue nor have they supplied our company with any supporting correspondence from the venue that they were denied access to the event. Lastly, every page of our website CLEARLY states we are a resale marketplace. Our customers claims are false and believe this complaint should be closed immediately

      January 8, 2024 - I purchased tickets online for the ********** Rodeo Xtreme Bulls event on August 31, 2024. I have paid in full for the amount and recently asked a family member that lives in Seattle if they would like to attend. They asked about the tickets (seating location, etc.) and when I said I didn't know the exact seat number, but would be receiving digital tickets that told me that I most likely had been scammed. ********** Rodeo only issues paper tickets and does not accept digital tickets. When I contacted Box Office Ticket Sales they have repeatedly told me I would receive my tickets (digital) on August 31st (the day of the event). I reported to them that the event does not accept digital tickets and that I need paper or physical tickets they tell me that I will receive legitimate digital tickets. I'm going round and round with them to know avail. If they don't provide me with acceptable tickets in time to attend I am out the price of the tickets not to mention travel from Minnesota to Washington state!

All tickets are backed by our 100 guarantee and will be delivered well in advance of our customers event at the end of August. There is absolutely nothing this customer needs to do at this time and there is zero reason for them to be causing themselves such a panic for now reason. We respectfully request that this complaint be closed and we'll follow up with this customer in August before their event should they have any other questions at that time.

      As you can see from the primary ticketing source that Print at Home or Mobile Tickets are a viable option. The ticket seller responsible for delivering these tickets selected mobile delivery and that cannot be changed. Tickets will be transferred to this customer in accordance with their "demands" and should they not be able to attend the event as they allege they'll have ample time to resell their tickets. @BBB, please close this complaint as its nothing more than a case of buyer remorse. Please let the ticket experts handle what we do best and thats to delivery tickets and give consumers a great experience at their events

      I am rejecting this response because this business has been very difficult to work with from the start.  This is not a 'buyer's remorse' situation as they have claimed.  If I am to have the ability to resell these tickets since I am now unable to attend,  I need the tickets in any form before the date of the event.  Their platform does not allow me to list and resell so I need to place them elsewhere.  If they want to honor this purchase, then provide me with the digital tickets as soon as possible.  Otherwise, I will continue to dispute their business practices all the way to the state and federal government who are very interested in these scenarios.

      This company misrepresents themselves. I tried to order tickets for a concert in November from tickmaster. After waiting I thought I should try and call so I google Ticketmaster phone number and the number that came up I called not thinking “box office tickets” wasn’t a trustworthy company. And the tickets I were ordering were from a presale so how would a 3rd party company have the tickets already. They tell me the price for $467 a tickets and I figure it’s a once in a lifetime concert might as well do it. So after all the extra fees they charge I end up paying $1839 for 3 tickets. Later I go to check Ticketmaster again and the same seats are $215 a ticket. I call box office again and they tell me no refunds and I won’t even get the tickets till 48 hrs before the concert. Bbb website is full of complaints for this company.

      Box Office Ticket Sales is a leader in the resale market industry. Every customer including this one goes through a checklist of the terms and conditions of their purchase prior to authorizing their purchase. Additionally we wanted to note that the event our customer purchased tickets from earlier this month was extremely popular as well as the fact the customer called us on the day the tickets went on pre-sale. These are some of the factors as to why the price from a leading resale marketplace may have been different than purchasing from the primary seller. We believe our customer had an exceptional experience with our team. There is no further action this customer needs to do other than to sit back and wait for their event upcoming in November 2024. We believe this complaint should be closed

      While I did agree to the terms I was under the assumption they were Ticketmaster. I had a presale code to buy tickets at face value. It wasn’t until later I looked at Ticketmaster again that I realized this wasn’t them when I see the same tickets for around a 1/3 the price. And I still have no tickets and have to hope they send them within 48 hrs of the concert and from the looks of other complaints that’s questionable. If it’s such a poplar concert as they stated it should be no problem for them to resell these tickets. Unless they’re clearly taking advantage of people by misrepresenting themselves.

      Box Office Ticket Sales is a leading resale marketplace that sells tickets to over 25,000 customers a month. All customers including this one must agree to the terms and conditions of purchase which clearly state that we are a resale marketplace and is not affiliated with any venue team or artist. This customers accusations that they contacted a venue who stated we are a scam is false and slanderous. Furthermore, this consumer filed a fraudulent dispute with their credit card company claiming they never received their tickets. This too is a lie, the customer was sent and received their tickets less than an hour after we sent them in February. This customer claims to now live outside the country and cannot attend their event. This however does not relinquish them from their responsibility to pay for the tickets. They are free to give the tickets away or resell them , which ever they prefer. This is nothing more than a case of buyers remorse and the complaint should be closed immediately

We sell tickets to over 300,000 customers annually and know what we're doing. This customer has been in possession of their tickets now for several months and no matter how many times they complain it doesn't change the fact they agreed to the terms and conditions of their purchase.       I bought ****** tickets online didn't get tickets yet game is tomorrow . The 2 tickets were $21. Each box office took $87.00 out of my bank account and still no tickets ! Box office should be charged for fraud ! And license taken away !

      On March 8, 2024 I purchased tickets to the ********** ******* play for March 16, 2024, Order #45940675. When I initially purchased the tickets there was no option to select the tickets that you would like. I reached out to request a refund and seat change for ADA accommodations were I was advised both times to re-sell my tickets for reimbursement. Three days prior to the show and no other response from Box Office Ticket Sales; I opted to re-sell the tickets. I tried to sell the tickets on Stub Hub, and Ticket Master, both sites informed me that the event coordinator is not allowing re-sell of tickets. Thus leaving me with tickets that I could not use despite all of my efforts. The inaccurate communication caused me further stress because I followed the exact suggestion from the vendor. I exhausted all of my efforts trying to resolve this mishap, but no matter the route I was unable to find a resolution. In the end, I felt attacked by this vendor for insinuating that I did not have a legitimate ADA request, "this customers event took place nearly a month ago and their review is a final attempt to get a refund because they have buyers remorse and not an issue with their purchase or tickets." The tickets were a surprise for my parents who require accommodations which constitutes my issue is with the ticket. The ADA.gov site states," An individual who has purchased a non-accessible seat through the secondary market but needs an accessible seat must be permitted to exchange the ticket for a comparable accessible seat, if one is available." (ADA.gov) At no point, did Box Office Ticket Sale communicate to me that ADA tickets were unavailable. The seats provided were not equivalent nor in a better location as promised on my receipt.

We appreciate our clients purchase, however as a resale marketplace we rely on a vast number of ticket suppliers to fulfill customer orders. While we appreciate our customers needs for accessible seating, they selected tickets on our site and authorized this transaction knowing they were not ADA seats. Should they have needed ADA seats and did not see them they should have immediately stopped the process before authorizing their multi step checkout process. Furthermore, as there are thousands of sellers who list tickets for resale in our marketplace there is absolutely no guarantee that the same seller may possibly have had ADA seats. As the terms and conditions state all sales are final. Lastly, while we appreciate this customer sending our service team a note about what must happen on the exchange of tickets for ADA seats they conveniently neglected to provide the entire piece of language:

      An individual who has purchased a non-accessible seat through the secondary market but needs an accessible seat must be permitted to exchange the ticket for a comparable accessible seat, if one is available.

      A comparable ADA seat on our marketplace from the same seller was not available.

      This complaint should be closed immediately. The customer was successfully delivered the tickets they agreed to purchase from our marketplace

Legally you are obligated to provide accommodating seat that Box Office did not acknowledge were or were not available. The constant back and forth regarding this issue rather than trying to make it right will not deter my argument. We can continue this discussion as long as it takes to get a legal response. Taking advantage of consumers is not right.

      Again, Box Office Ticket Sales is a resale marketplace. The tickets listed on our site are not our own tickets, they are those of 1000's of resellers who use our marketplace. No matter how many times this customer responds to this complaint it doesn't change the fact that they purchased standard seating tickets. If they required some sort of accommodation they should have purchased tickets directly from the primary seller who often times does have ADA seats available. More often than not resale websites don't offer ADA options. ADA seats listed through our platform at the time of this users purchase were not available and as such, the complaint should be closed immediately by the BBB. This customer is not getting a refund.

      I purchased 2 tickets on Feb 2nd for the ****** ********** concert on May 2nd in Seattle at the Climate Pledge Arena. They were not upfront about the way they operate and there deceptive business practices.. I have yet to receive my concert tickets, apparently they won't release or give me the tickets until up to 48 hours before the concert... No refunds or exchanges.. They also do not tell you there policy's until you pay. Then it's to late. You won't get your tickets no matter what you do... it's a shady and unethical company.. I had to buy 2 more concert tickets from a real company called Ticket Master.. I got my tickets in 3 minutes.. I don't know what I can do to get my refund.. Never Ever purchase anything from this company...

      Box Office Ticket Sales is a leader in the event ticket resale industry. We sell tickets to over 25000 customers a month. We have reviewed this customers complaint and frankly it is ripe with inaccurate information and slanderous accusations. First and foremost, every customer including this one knows we're a reseller and not the venue. Secondly, every customer including this one must agree to all terms and conditions including an itemization of all prices. Lastly, every customer agrees to the ticket delivery time frame. Delivery of tickets is strictly dictated by the the primary ticketing vendor and not our company. you can see as clear as day that ticketmaster delayed the transfer of tickets which they do on popular events such as ****** ********** (see attached). There is nothing deceptive about this customers purchase other than the fact the customer is committing fraud by filing a false chargeback with the credit card processor after agreeing to their purchase and terms and conditions. This complaint is closed and we will fight tooth and nail to get our money back from the credit card company

      Firstly, Ticket master doesn't hold tickets, I've already purchased 2 tickets to J.T and I received them weeks ago, within minutes of my purchase., so their response is a complete and udder lie.. Also I can't even resale the tickets because no one will purchase them from me without me having an actual ticket or digital ticket.  The fact that I'm having to go through this and they amount of time I've spent with this company simply shows what kind of company they are.   If they we're a respectable company they would issue me a refund.  They have Not.

We absolutely dispute this customers complaint as it is ripe with incorrect statements. Every customer including this one must agree that they know we are a reseller and as such they agree to our delivery time frame on tickets. These tickets are not arbitrary and are based on many factors including ones set out by the primary seller. You can see from the attached screen shot tickets are on delay from the primary seller and are purchased and guaranteed to this customer. There is zero reason this customer should have purchased additional tickets. Furthermore the only scam here is from this consumer who is attempting to violate the agreement they made to purchase tickets by filing a dispute with their credit company under false pretenses. We will fight this and win as we're 100% in the right. The BBB needs to close this complaint immediately as it is filed without merit.

      I ordered tickets from this company as a Christmas gift for my grandchildren. They said I would get my tickets 48 hours before the show. The night before the show I called multiple times. They told me they could not get me my tickets and that they were going to refund my money. My daughter went online and it appears that many other people have had this problem and still have not received their refund.

      Thank you for contacting Box Office Ticket Sales. As a large resale marketplace we sell tickets to over 24,000 customers on a monthly basis. In the rarest of occasions one of our trusted ticket providers is unable to fulfill an order. We have been in constant communication with our customer regarding the refund they are owed. We have contacted our customer 4 times via email and sms that we need an updated credit card because the one used for purchase has expired. Once we receive this updated information their refund will be processed.

      Dear BBB

      IT IS INDEED TRUE THAT I have been contacting BOX OFFICE TICKET SALES multiple times regarding this issue.  They keep telling me they are trying to refund my money however they say that my credit card would not allow them to credit the money.  I contacted my credit card and they said they absolutely will accept the refund.  Box office ticket sales said they were trying and couldn’t refund the money.  They asked me for another card number which I gave them.  The money at first appeared to be in my account and then it was not deposited by box office ticket sales.  I called my bank and had a 3-way conversation with box office ticket sales.  They now say the money should be returned in 2-3 business days.  I am extremely concerned that now they have 2 of my card numbers.

      The BOTS company did finally refund my money which I am very happy about. However they claim that the holdup was my credit card. They are reporting that my credit card company would not allow them to refund the money.  According to my credit card company this is not accurate information.  The associates from BOTS were extremely rude and I would discourage anyone from doing business with them.

      Just curious, is that the only criteria the business in held accountable to, responding to their complaint.  In my opinion, They provided an inaccurate response with untruthful information as they did during the initial transaction.  They made no effort to resolve.  If you read through the threads I actually took the effort to provide a proposed resolution that took both parties needs into consideration and received no response nor proposed solution.  Thanks so much for you help and better understanding of the process.

      On 3/21/2024, I wanted to purchase tickets for my wife and I to see the Lion King show at the ******* theater. When I googled "phone number for ******* theater box office ticket sales" I was given phone number ************. I called that number and got an agent who was eager to sell me tickets. I was told I would receive the tickets via email within 24 hours but did not receive them until Saturday evening, March 23, less than 24 hours before the show. Face value of the tickets I received was $71 yet I paid $159.50 each with an additional $59.95 in fees (miscellaneous $51.04 and delivery fee of $8.95). I am not sure what the $8.95 covered since they were delivered via email.. I had no idea the tickets I was purchasing were costing me over 2.4 times the actual face value and the agent never indicated there was that kind of markup. To me, this is scalping on steroids and I feel like I was robbed by the company "*******************************". This company knows what they are doing and read me a statement indicating that the face value may be less than what they were charging and that they were a secondary seller of the tickets but I had no idea I was going to be paying over twice face value for the tickets. When I contacted the company's customer service number today, the agent I spoke with did not offer to do anything to remedy the situation and only kept reminding me that I had listened to their statement and agreed to the charges. I would think there would be some kind of a law or policy in place to prevent this kind of price gouging and to protect customers rights. When I first received the tickets and saw the face value, I was going to decline them but did some research online and found that they would not refund the money, no matter what. My wife and I really wanted to see the show so I accepted the tickets even though I was very disappointed. I know I am probably SOL but wanted to inform others so they don't get ripped off by this company.

      Box Office Ticket Sales is a resale marketplace. Our customer was crystal clear that they were buying from a reseller and this customer was also crystal clear that they were paying over face value. The event this customer purchased for was the hottest theater event occurring in Omaha for some time. Many factors impact the price of tickets including one the customer called out in their complaint. They waited till the very last minute to purchase their tickets, they purchased in a premium section and at the time of their purchase there were very little pairs of tickets even available from the primary market, it was mostly scattered singles. Based on the popularity of this event, the time of purchase to event and the scarcity of seats this customer should feel lucky they were able to even attend this event. It should be noted that all pricing including the price of tickets, service fees and delivery fees were clearly itemized and agreed to by this customer before they authorized their purchase with our company. As such, this complaint should be closed immediately

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Boxoffice tickets did not provide me an itemized statement of all of the costs and it was not clear to me that I was paying over two times the amount for the tickets.  I did not wear this until less than one day before the show. And even though they give you an option to decline the tickets, everything I read online said that ticket sales are final and they will not refund you.

      I also could have purchased those same tickets online at the ******* theater for the stated value of $71 per ticket. Box office did nothing for me but rip me off and I will not accept their explanation on why they should continue stealing from people.
       
      As I told them, I will take up every opportunity I can to expose them for the thieves they are regardless of how they view and continue to justify their unethical practices.

      Once again we'll reiterate that this customer purchased tickets to an extremely popular event and they waited till the very last minute to do so. Many industries including hotel, travel, airlines and leisure  use dynamic pricing. So do many secondary event ticket sellers. Once again ticket availability which in this customers case was extremely limited, time to the event which in this customers case was less than 48 hours away all impact pricing. For the record, this customer with 100% absolutely certainty agreed to an itemization of all ticket prices and fees associated with their purchase before giving authorization to process the purchase. This is a case of buyers remorse and this customer if they were so price sensitive should have shopped around sooner to purchase their event tickets. This complaint should be closed immediately
