Left out electrical permit & inspection to make a sale. And when called out on it I was threatened by the owner. Now they will not install chip or provide any yearly service. Paid 3/4 of bill in cash up front and they constantly sent threatening texts, phone calls and emails for remainder, less then 2weeks after install. When I would not respond because check for balance was in the mail they sent me certified letter of notice of intent to file a lien on our property. I am just so distraught over this whole mess that I wish I had never put a generator on our house. If you need generators go with a different company or go with a ****** brand..

I apologize that we have come to this end pass. We have tried everything to avoid this and was only seeking your satisfaction. This installation was done at your direction and with your approval. You showed us paperwork that said you were exempt from inspections because of farm status. Per your request we took off the permit fee because it was not necessary by the documents you had. We did note that in all quotes and in all conversations with had with you. You called the inspector and wanted an inspection after we left. After the inspector was involved we did get the inspection and passed with no issues.

With regards to any threats and follow up after the install, our company has never threatened or harassed you. I as the owner never have even talked to you and I have only listened to all the calls, reviewed all text and email correspondences to confirm my staff professionalism. We have only tried to contact you to resolve all issues and make you happy. We collect the labor portion of the invoice after we are done and we take product costs upfront to secure the equipment. We have no reason to have upset customers and only want to get the job done and closed as fast as possible.

We keep meticulous notes and records to protect the customer as well as the staff from any miscommunication. I stand behind my staff and how they have tried to resolve all issues.

Obviously you have not listened to the taped phone call from a man named Chris who called me from your office who insisted on threatening me while telling me that he was coming to my house to collect the remaining balance and that he couldn't wait to put a face with my name, which was just a couple of days after the install. Also since I do not know your name I may not have talked to you but I do know and have a witness that never once did I mention that I was farm exempt I live in a housing development . Your salesman that came to my house asked me if he could take my paperwork with him which had the inspectors name and phone number on the front of the pamphlet circled. And when he left I told him I do not know anything about an electrical permit so here is a number that you need to call . Obviously no one called that number. So after the install of the generator I was a little nervous about what I saw for the installation so I got concerned about my electrical and called the electrical inspector myself and found out that you as a company out of Omaha should've known that every home in Iowa requires an electrical permit. There should've never been any doubt or questions about the electrical permit or inspection. You in my contract are responsible for that not me so I am holding you responsible.

Charlotte, at this time I am going to agree to disagree. Its not in the best interest of any party involved to have a back and forth argument over the internet. Anyone that reads this review can make their own decision on what is going on. We have all seen the customer that is never happy, no matter how hard the company tries to do the right thing. I could go on and on about what actually happened for every version of the story you state. But instead I am going to bow out and say you are right. You are not happy and my company and we cant make you happy. We are not a good fit and this is okay.

My company has done everything we could to avoid this bad review. I will not say we did anything wrong just to make a review go away. We did a great job and you have a backup generator installed as you paid for. It was inspected and it passed with no issues. You are right, we were not a good fit. I have been happy with my generator and how it's working I just wasn't happy with your company. When I found out you neglected the electrical permit and inspection I just wanted you to make it right and I was so upset over the phone call from your company . And you keep acting like you've never heard the conversation when you know that it was recorded he even told me that it was being recorded, and you still act like you don't even know who it is. All I ever needed was an apology for that phone call I was never even upset about the permit or inspection because you're right it did pass. These reviews are just to make sure that everybody in Iowa knows that you do need an inspection and a permit to proceed and that there is someone at the company out of Omaha that will scare you .
