My spouse signed our kids up for a defense class with 88 Tactical scheduled Aug/Sep 2021 timeframe. Our kids could not make the class when it was scheduled. We called in advance to cancel the class and were not told at that time that we could not receive a refund. I called a couple days later to settle the issue and ask for a refund. We live a fair distance from ***** and do not go there regularly. We do not intend to reschedule the course. We called and were told they do not issue refunds and that it would be an in-store credit and that we would have to speak with the manager. Called to speak to the manager and only received a message from one of the staff, stating there was nothing that can be done and that we have a in-store credit, that we could use for another course, a gift card or any of their items they have for sale. Again, we do not intend to reschedule the course. So, I guess we are out $***. I guess we missed the boat and should start a business, if you don't have to provide refunds anymore. Just does not meet my common sense check and the customer is not always right.Business response

We apologize for the inconvenience, but our cancellation policy is included in every class description - both on the class webpage and the training calendar view. We strive to be as transparent as possible. This policy has been in effect and published on our website for the last two years: "Students who cancel or reschedule a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of a class will receive a full refund in the form of store credit. Cancelling or rescheduling less than 72 hours in advance or "No-Shows" will result in forfeiture of **% of payments and fees (**% will be returned in the form of store credit). 88 Tactical reserves the right to cancel any course offered due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, all students will receive a full refund or credit applied to another class." We hope you can reschedule the class or visit us again in the future to use up that store credit.
