Howard and his son added an extension to my exhisting privacy fence. Many things were done incorrectly and or poorly. None of my 4x4 posts are the same height, the 2x4 rails do not follow the contour of the ground, some even rest directly on the ground. The pickets were placed directly on the ground, which will cause rott quicker. The front of my fence with gate is the absolute worst. The rails don't line up, nor did it follow the slope of my yard. The picket were put on going straight across leaving a 4" gap on one half of the front. My gate is too short, poorly built (it warped in two days), doesn't even line up with the side panels of fence. The hardware doesn't match my 3 exhisting gates. The gate was secured into pickets not event a rails or posts. It has since warped to where we can't even use it and has actually broken. The front 4x4s are not even in a straight line. We took him to court. We won, and he has yet to pay us. We gave him ample time to come fix at least the front of this addition before we resorted to court, but he stood us up and then ignored any of our comunication. He is unproffesional and does sub standard work. I had numerous fence companies give estimates to fix his work and all couldn't believe he is still in business.
