Very deceptive business practices. My mother had an air conditioner and heat pump installed. She said she paid an additional $500 for a cover and did not receive it. I called several times to ask about this and finally got a call back. I asked for an invoice that showed a breakdown of what was installed. I was told she must be confused and it is probably the tax she is thinking of. That did not add up. I was then told her a/c unit had a metal cover instead of plastic so that could be it. I said repeatedly, an invoice would help me explain to her what work was done and what she paid for. I was told several times it was sent and that she got a good deal. I called back to verify the email address and while on the phone, again, was told he just sent it. I said I, will wait on the phone to see if I get it. Three times I repeated my email address and three times he said he did not see what the problem was and that she got a good deal. I again repeated an invoice that shows what was installed would clear this up. I eventually got an "invoice". One line item with no model numbers of anything and one price. I said, I don't think my mom is confused at all and should be refunded the $500. I ended the conversation after being told he installed a good unit and would not be refunding. Ten minutes later I got a call back with a completely different message. He apologized and was going to drop $500 in her mailbox that day. He said he is new and bad with paperwork. A few hours later I get a voicemail saying he was at her house and nobody was home and sent me text messages and pictures saying he installed a good unit and was not going to leave the money in the door and did not feel a refund was fair. I replied and said per our conversation you were stopping by to leave it in her mailbox. I then got another picture of her mailbox opened and 5 $100 bills tossed in and that I should be ashamed of myself for being a bully. I have this on text messages from him and the pictures.
