I have an established profession relationship with the NP that works at one of the Sioux Falls, SD locations. I have been receiving their services for the past 6 months and I have come to find out that Milan is firing ALL the NPs and hiring cheaper replacements. So I will randomly get assigned a new employee when I’m almost done with my treatment. These employees AND customers are being treated horribly because this business wants to save a buck. Although the law has changed allowing nurses to perform the laser treatment NO ONE else in Sioux Falls is FIRING their staff and replacing them with inexperienced personnel. I could understand if back fills were nurses, then training wouldn’t be rushed and senior staff could help train. I have contacted customer service about a refund and haven’t heard anything.

Milan Hair REMOVAL services are a joke they are not responding to any calls emails text I need to find out how to get out of an agreement on credit and no one will return my calls emails etc they said they would Call me the day I called which was Friday and now it's Tuesday and I've heard nothing from no one I need some answers answered please

Need them to cancel my subscription because I no longer want to use their services. Went to the Irving tx location recently for my appointment and told them prior to that I was late because of traffic and they still couldn’t give me an appointment. Had to sit on the waiting area waiting for my Uber back ( such a waste of money and time). Told them nicely that I couldn’t keep up with the appointments as they already know that my schedule is tight and on top of their unflexible schedule, it just wasn’t possible. I haven’t heard back from the manager who used to bombard me with useless spam emails as she has now become busy. It shouldn’t be such a hassle to cancel something that you won’t use and I truly regret stepping into their location!

I am glad to have signed up with Milan to zap away all my unwanted hairs. Their pricing is competitive, their customer service is superb, their medical professionals are super welcoming, friendly, helpful, and just overall great happy people . I feel very relaxed and comfortable during every session, Thank you Susan, Kat, Nikki, and Gabriela for all the professionalism and attention to detail every step of the way. Overpriced and may not complete service. I feel like a spent so much money for a full body when half the time, they could not complete the service, saying I only had an hour allotment.

I was subjected to monthly subscription when I wanted to learn more about laser hair. I was told the first trial was free and agreed under that term. However I am not pleased with the final result and was told to make another consultation when I was under the impression I could cancel my appointment and do not accept to paying $300 when I was told first session was free. I find this overpriced for what service was done.

Everything was going well until my latest appointment on 5/18 at the Augusta location. I dealt with a different Nurse that did not take the proper precaution to avoid the damages to my skin. I've been left with a painful burn on both side of my face including my chin. The nurse did not dedicate time to ensure my skin was clear and free of any product as the previous nurse would. I'm very disappointed as I am paying on a loan for services with this company. This could've been totally avoided if the Nurse practiced safety and even asked if my comfort level was comfortable. My trust has been revoked with this practice.

ALL of these reviews are made from uneducated people who A: don't follow directions, B: don't understand how a payment plan works, C: have nothing better to do than complain about a decision they made. People take ZERO accountability. It's mind blowing. I am honestly SHOCKED about these bad reviews. Milan is AWESOME. People only put bad reviews on here because they are angry that THEY made a purchase and don't want to pay for it. These reviews are laughable. No one comes to BBB to leave good reviews. So what, 51 people out of 800,000 left a bad review? Check yelp.. check google.. non of those are bad. Look at the FACTS! Free treatments: Milan offers a one time free treatment sometimes. This is for people to try out an area or maybe they are scared of how it feels. It takes way more than 1 treatment to become hair free. You do NOT pay per session: I can't emphasize this enough... you purchase PER body area. If you don't have enough money to pay in full for it then you can do their payment plan. You have to pay for the full payment plan regardless of how many sessions you have!!! Example: You don't go out and buy a couch and finance that couch but expect after a year to stop paying for it even though you use the couch whenever you want!!!! Right?! So make your payments and there won't be issues!! Consultations: Its FREE. No one forces you to purchase. So don't be dumb. If you can't afford it then DON'T purchase. Don't blame Milan. Why is this such a hard concept for people? Side Effects: Don't be tan from the sun and don't have product on. It's on the website, etc. You won't be burned if you follow these two rules. So yes, all of the reviews people post are from idiots who don't FOLLOW SIMPLE DIRECTIONS. Scaring is impossible. Hair growth is HORMONAL: so yes, duh...you need multiple treatments..sometimes 10+ treatments. And guess what? Hair grows back because if you're alive, your hair is alive! That's why Milan does unlimited treatments at all locations.

I went in for my 9th treatment on my underarms and my 8th treatment for my face. I left there in pain and the next day I realized I had been burned. I went back to Milan on and they confirmed I had been burned. The technician didn’t follow procedure by cleaning the area and didn’t offer aloe. I went to my doctor and he said that I received treatment that was poor in not only technique, but also settings. I’m not going back to Milan!
