Jims moving was hired to move an entire house dated 1/23/2023. the estimator came out and gave a estimate for cost. we accepted based on 5 guys plus 2 trucks. on day of move i signed up for there insurance that for $*** says zero dollar deductable and $****** of coverage. exact wording reads: "for a $****** fee, you will recieve $********* worth of coverage with no deductible". once the move was completed i received my bill to pay, they billed me for 6 guys and 2 trucks which was never approved by me and costed me more money. then we went through the damage that was caused by the moving company and it was documented and i was told they would call back to set a time up for the estimator to come out and look. here is the list of damage. -limited edition ceramic snow man $*** value -damage to treadmill, scraped on side by sliding it over door frame $**** -damaged fridge with damage on handles, top dented, front scraped $**** -damaged dresser stand $*** -dining bench heavily scraped $*** -dining room table heavily gouged and scraped $**** 2 walls leading into basement needing drywall repair and repaint $*** after calling multiple times, i finally got the guy to come out 02/01/2023 at this appoint he went on to tell me he wont give me the insurance company name, and they will only cover parts of the damage depending on what insurance says. there forms have no disclaimers, it is cut and dry the damage coverage i would receive. he claims they shouldnt have moved the statue and they wont cover it. he said they shouldnt have moved the treadmill so they wont cover it. he said they would use a repair company to touchup the table and bench. he said he would us spackle to cover damage on walls but wouldnt paint. he took a piece of the dresser to work on replacing it but that was 2 weeks ago. he said the fridge they would only probly give partial credit since it still runs.(like thanks man it runs but is damaged everywhere and is not usable to have sitting out.
