Do yourself a holiday favor and go somewhere else. I've tried talking to Nissan of Omaha about this for 6+ months. They refuse to return my calls and help me fix this situation. Recently took my newer age Murano in with less than 60K miles to have the power steering fixed. The host had become disconnected and sprayed liquid everywhere. Likely just needed a new power steering line. Pretty simple fix, right? Nissan of Omaha service department wanted over $8,000 to fix. They said that the whole steering column needed to be replaced. Not only that, but I asked them not to change the oil after I had it towed in, because I wanted to see what the total would be and decide if I wanted to pursue all fixes and maintenances. What did they do? They went ahead and did the oil change first without even looking into the power steering. Once they did, they wanted over $8,000 to fix it, plus the oil change that they already did. They actually didn't have an answer when I asked them why they did that. They even said I wouldn't have to pay for the oil change. They lied. My guess? One of their mechanics saw a easy fix and thought it would be easy to say it was something much more and then get the car for themselves once i traded it in. Of which they were only going to give me $2,000 for trade... What did I do? I took it somewhere else. I had to pay additional in towing and the oil change to get it away from Nissan of Omaha and it turns out to have been the best decision of my life. Went and had another mechanic take a look. Two days and less than $700 and the car has had no problems for over 6 months. Talked with multiple other locations as well as an automotive instructor at a local University. ALL OF THEM SAID THIS WAS WRONG. Should you do business with Nissan of Omaha? No, you really really shouldn't. They will lie to you and confuse you into thinking what you are buying from them is actually quality.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I leased a vehicle three years ago and was told at the time there was a 100k warranty if I chose to buy the lease out. As that date approached, I realized how hard it was to get someone on the phone to help me with questions re buying out the lease + the warranty and how it's even harder to get the truth from them. I was told three different things by three different employees I finally got on the phone, none of which turned out to be true. I cut them out of the process completely and took on the hassle of buying out the lease myself to avoid dealing with them and giving them any commission. After all of that, a man claiming to be a co-owner called me recently and guaranteed me I did have a warranty - despite what the others had said. Then, he didn't get back to me and later sent a text he was leaving the company so couldn't help to answer my questions derived from his recent call. They're an unorganized, unethical group that I would never recommend anyone to work with. There are far too many dealerships in Omaha to treat paying customers the way they do. -100/10

Back on June 1st. I took my car in for a oil change. Before I left my dad mentioned have them look at my muffler because he thought something was off. I mentioned it and they said everything was fine. I had to take my car back to nissan on June 16th cause my car was making louder noises. They diagnosed it and said I did need a new muffler. On June 19th I took my car to house of mufflers and brakes they gave me a 2 opinion on my muffler and told me I had 8 other services that they needed to be done right away. Once I got my muffler fixed I got a 2 opinion from omaha car care on June 28th just to make sure I needed the 8 other services. They range from my air filter and cabin air filter needing changing all the way to needing new spark plugs. They agreed those services needed to be done. What had me angry is back on June 1st nissan of omaha never mentioned any of those other services needed to be done. Seeing the pictures from the muffler and from these 8 services not being mentioned. Idk if I will ever go back to that nissan of omaha.

Looking into this concern, we found that when you visited our service department on June 1st this year, the appointment was scheduled for an oil change and tire rotation. It is uncharacteristic behavior for our advisors to fail to notate other concerns that need diagnoses on a vehicle. On the repair order there was no added line for a muffler inspection or diagnostic. We do, however, perform a multi-point inspection on every vehicle that comes into our shop. During this inspection it covers regular maintenance items such as brakes, tire tread, filters, fluids and alignment. We do not, however, do a full vehicle inspection on each vehicle that comes in. When you brought your vehicle to us for an oil change and rotation it looks like we performed a (MPI) on the vehicle and found maintenance items to be in good working order at that time. When you brought your vehicle back in on June 17th with a muffler concern this was the first time that we had any documentation of the concern. We provided you with a quote to repair the vehicle that was declined. We then spoke with you a few days later when you took the vehicle to a different shop to receive a second opinion. We explained that since you are a loyal customer and have continually brought your vehicle into our dealership that we would reach out to Nissan for a goodwill agreement. While waiting for approval of the goodwill agreement you completed the necessary repairs at the other shop, and we unfortunately were unable to help with any monetary reimbursement. As for the other items they notated on your inspection sheet, all to be said is that each shop has different perimeters for when filters are to be changed, our technician did not feel that these items needed to be replaced at the time of your oil change. We hope that you will still bring the vehicle back for scheduled maintenance and any other repairs that may be necessary in the future.

Took my car in for routine service. Two days later my check engine light came on and when I took it back to the dealership I was told that my coolant reservoir was completely empty. Apparently their tech decided to take a short cut with my car and not check fluid levels. I was also told that my timing chain was bad and needed to be replaced. Keep in mind they just had my car for service two days prior. Then for the next 6 weeks I never received updates on my vehicle progress, called and left multiple messages with no return call. I received conflicting responses when I did get ahold of someone; still waiting for parts to all the parts are here and it will be done in a couple of days. Back and forth, back and forth. Even the shop manager didn’t know what was going on with my car and apparently it didn’t matter to him as he never had time to talk to me or return my call. Finally after 6 weeks my car was supposedly done. I say this because 3 hours earlier I was told not all the parts were in and it would be a few days more. And yet, the same day I get a call that it’s done. I make arrangements to go pick it up. As I was paying I asked if they were still in the process of pulling my car up. I was told it was right there. The car that they referred to was NOT my car. They couldn’t even get the right car. Makes you wonder if they did the right work on the right car. I would think twice about any service work with this dealership as they are incompetent and doesn’t care about their customers!! I have bought two brand new Nissans however there will NOT be a third!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Upon further investigation into this concern, we show that your vehicle was brought in for an oil change and rotation in March. These two services and a Multi-Point Inspection were completed by our express technicians who handle routine maintenance tickets. During their Multi-Point Inspection, they noted that your vehicle had the correct amount of fluids. If they did take a short cut, we will discuss and reiterate that this is unacceptable. They do not inspect or check the timing chain as it is not a regular maintenance item. Commonly when timing chains go bad it happens very quickly, sometimes without warning. It sounds like this may be the case for your vehicle. However, when you brought it in for the timing chain and other items included in the repair after the timing chain failed in April. We did not have adequate communication with you while we were repairing your vehicle. This is unacceptable and something we are currently working on with our new on-staff service writers. While making the necessary repairs to your vehicle we were in contact with Nissan to find a way to work with you in terms of cost. We worked with you on what we call a goodwill payment, meaning that we would share 50% of the cost of the repair. We apologize for the lack of communication and that you were not kept informed every step of the way. If you feel that we have not addressed our concern or taken care of you, we would like an opportunity to discuss it with you in case there is anything more we can do to help. Just bought our new 2024 Nissan Pathfinder. Had an initial meeting with Zach R. and after a few weeks of thinking about it, we went back in with what we wanted to pay and get for our trade. Nissan met our expectations! Zach is a great sales team member and really did a great job working with us.

Purchased a new Frontier in Aug 2023. Opened a case with Nissan Corp. for an issue that the dealer and Nissan can't seem to resolve. According to Nissan Corp. the dealer should have given me a pre-delivery rundown of the features, etc. which wasn't done. The dealer contacted me to set up a "second delivery" which was to correct this oversight. The initial person to do this never got back to me and the second person made an appt. to meet with me, showed up 20 min. late and told me to read the manual. Nissan Corp. advised me they would get back to Nissan of Omaha and get them to make sure they contacted me again about getting someone to answer my questions about the operation of features. That was over 3 weeks ago.

I could not be happier with my experience at nissan of omaha, my salesman Josiah E**** has gone over and beyond to make this an easy and enjoyable experience, he went to bat for me to make this sale happen. Even now 1 month after enjoying my 2023 pathfinder he is checking with me to see what service he can be. I love the pathfinder and if there were more stars to give I'd give them to Josiah and the dealership. Very pleased all around, Thank you josiah!!

I have had an incredible experience with Nissan of Omaha. Steve ****** is who helped me through the whole process. From my 1st car to my newest, He answered all my questions and concerns. I was undecided on which car I wanted this last time, so he took the time and showed me several vehicles until he knew I was 100% happy. I now only buy my vehicles from Steve and only Steve!! Also Nissan has made it easy to get in and get my oil changes, etc... everyone I've had an interaction with there has been pleasant and helpful.

Extremely disorganized and dishonest. Someone dropped the ball on getting out title paperwork sent in even though I checked on it weekly. 1.5 weeks before my temp tags were up I left 2 voice-mails with the lady that handles the titling and continually sent messages to our salesman and he continued to give me the runaround. Now our tags are up and quite frankly we were told we're *** and we will not be able to drive our vehicle because of their mistakes. They said they can't extend our tags, they gave us some ** paper that has no legal authority. We have a trip planned and now have to spend $700 on a rental car because we can't legally drive our own brand new car that we spent a lot of money on because this dealership screwed up so royally. I would not recommend to ANYONE, especially if you are titling your vehicle out of state because they are incompetent and don't care to get your time sensitive issues handled. ALSO, my salesman continues to tell me their titling person is "out of office" for the past week and a half but I talked to the manager and miraculously they appeared in office.

Do yourself a favor and use a better, more organized and professional dealership. I have never been so angry with a dealership and I wish we wouldn't have let them push us into this deal and we would have went elsewhere.
