We recently had a roof done at our house, and from what we know about it seems to be a great job, even fixed up our chimney and repainted the stainless steel trim that should have been white in the first place, but they made it right. The work as I said it all seems to be good and looks great. Haven’t lost a shingle yet. The owner is great she’s responsive every time I worked with her, my issue lies with their “project manager” Mike. I had an issue where the city of Omaha informed me no permits were pulled and that the company was not licensed as a contractor in town. I called Ali after speaking to her about the permits earlier in the day to inform her what the City of Omaha had said about them not being licensed (figured that would be a good thing to know that the City is saying that about your company my bad for trying to be helpful) and the phone was passed off to Mike. Mike definitely has an Ego to him where his stuff don’t stink, he gets defensive very quick. They said he got defensive because I was upset.. but I have a right to be upset after paying 13k for a roof and the city telling me it was not done correctly or by a licensed company. I was giving Ali the benefit of doubt by just informing her what I was told. I told the owner that I only want to work with her from now on. I would recommend the work, however I would not recommend the project manager. Mike proceeded to block my number from contacting the company cause he was upset or his feeling were hurt unsure of the reason however that is not how you handle a CUSTOMER that is upset about spending 13 k with you. Very unprofessional and I hope that company can make some changes as I always want to support the local companies it would have been a 5 star job with out the defensive egotistic fella.Review from Lise G

Painted my house in a timely manner and responded to my questions within the day. Crews were respectful of my property, cleaned up the work area on a daily basis. returned all items that they had moved out of their way back to the original spot when finished. I am very happy with the house painting and have another request for additional work on my property. i understand that they are currently busy with outside projects that only can be done at this time of year and I am willing to wait. To the reviewer below, the review is unfair. Apparently you appreciated their work and wanted them to complete additional window replacement. I'm sure that all of their customers have money to pay for services. If they hadn't gotten back to me after the first email, my thoughts would have been well I guess they don't want the job and would have hired someone else. Rate them on the job they completed, not on the didn't get my way aspect.

Mr ***** is very ungrateful. We explained to him we are booked out until 2023 however we still made time to repair one of his windows due to insects getting in and at a fraction of the cost that other contractors had quoted him. He was very happy with our work and wanted the rest of his windows done. We explained to him that we are very busy and it will be several months before we could get back to repair the rest of his windows. He kept calling and emailing even after we had explained how busy we are and wouldnt be able to make it back for several months. He's not upset with the quality of our work or the price. He's upset because we are a busy company and didn't get back to him fast enough. This review isn't fair to our company. He's rating us not on the quality or price of our work but on our busy schedule. We wish you the best Mr *****.Customer Response

They made no such explanations as stated above, this reply is simply a lie. THEY INITIALLY CONTACTED ME from the Lowe's referral web list, seeking the job. I did not contact them. What is stated above is a lie. After the first job was done, they claimed to be out of town until after the July 4th holiday and would contact me then. They never did. Naturally I called and emailed wondering when they would do the follow-up work. I am a paying customer, these people need to know what the term CUSTOMER means. They were unconcerned about future work. I paid them promptly and then they ignored me after they got my cash. And I say if you are so busy then: DON'T TAKE ON NEW CUSTOMERS AND LIE TO THEM.
So to these folks, it's all about the money, and once they have your cash you can go to the devil. I say, avoid mom and pop operations.
All they needed to do was keep in contact with me. Basic common sense and RESPECT for the customer.
