These people are completely incompetent. Although they were supposed to be treating our home on a monthly service plan, we found over 10 wasps nests on our home this weekend, and one was as large as your hand with 30 live wasps on it. Do not use this services. If I could leave a 0 I would. They want to charge me a service charge to cancel. They are terrible and incompetent!!!

We hired on Fenix Pest Control to service our home and the first two times they treated our home we were very pleased. However, the third time Fenix sent someone he appeared to be very nice and professional as he was spraying the inside of our home as I took him to all the rooms. However, I did not follow him into our garage as it was hot so I waited in the living room. I noticed he took a while and so I thought maybe he needed something moved. So as I was about to go to the garage he finally came into the house excited and asked about the high performance sports vehicle plates from Wisconsin since we're in Iowa. I said no and nothing more. He completed the spraying of the home and left, however the owner of the car that's parked inside the garage who is a friend staying with us asked about his vehicle later that day since the seat was moved up, the steering wheel was adjusted and the break pedal had been pushed down. I was very upset because there was no one else in the garage or had access and hence the Fenix Rep obviously tampered with the vehicle. The sad part is when I called to report the issue someone took down my complaint and said a supervisor would call as the holiday weekend was approaching. So I waited until Tuesday late afternoon and no one called so I called. I was transferred to another lady and had to explain the complaint then she said oh yeah another person has your file open and is working on it. So as I expressed my disappointment she stated the Rep had been with the company for 5 years and no complaints ever received. I stated that does not make him perfect as I have no reason to falsely accuse him of tampering with the vehicle. I explained only I was home, the owner at work with his truck and its unfortunate you are not willing to take me serious. She then stated show me some video. I then stated I did not feel safe opening my home up to Fenix and hence cancelled our contract with Fenix Pest Control. Very unprofessional/rude.

I had a young man come to my door a year ago and convince me to switch pest control companies. He showed me how it would be cheaper and how they would control more pests. He said they would send me a copy of the contract and he even gave me his phone number. I never got the contract. I texted him and he said to email the company, but didn't give me their email. In the contract it apparently says you have to use them for a year so I have waited to cancel my contract. In the mean time I have ants, spiders, mice and snakes (yes, snakes) invading my home! I just called and the woman I spoke with said I needed to give them 30 days notice in writing that I want to cancel and that she would send me an email on August 1 and I had until midnight ON THAT DAY to reply that I want my service cancelled at the end of August. We'll, it is now June 28. When I count 30 days on the calendar that makes it July 28, not August 31. I told her I was going to be out of town and would not be here to respond. She insisted she would send it on August 1. I told her to send it TODAY and she finally did. Do not trust this company. Their treatment plan is more expensive and doesn't do as good a job as other companies.
