Like every review online, this company sent a bill I have no idea about/never recieved to a collection agency, Clear Recovery. This agency has been calling nonstop, and I originally thought it was all a scam because of the bill I never recieved. In calling the business, they don’t have an answering service set up for billing, and they are impossible to contact. I believe because of the number of similar complaints, something needs to happen. This is tanking my credit score and I still don’t even know if the bill they are trying to get me to pay is real.

My daughter had an mri in January of 2024. She's a minor so I accompanied her and filled out the paperwork as the responsible party. I received a bill in the mail for the mri itself but never received a bill from Radiology Consultants PC. Three days ago I received a call from a collection agency asking for my 13 year old daughter. I explained that I'm her father so you can talk to me. They told me I have to say my daughter's address and date of birth before continuing. I told them that I'm not comfortable with that and asked what address they had on file. The address they had was completely wrong and they had my daughter as the responsible party. I don't know how this got so screwed up and why they sent this to collections without trying to call me as the collection agency had my phone number. Again, I received a bill for this mri from another company and I only filled out the paperwork one time so I know it was done correctly. This is bad business!

      Mr. *******,

Thank you for reaching out. I totally understand not wanting to provide your child's personal information over the phone. I would have done the same thing. It appears this matter has already been resolved, however, please give me a call if you would like to discuss anything further. My phone number is ###-###-#### or you can email me at ********************

I was contacted by a collection agency regarding a bill from this company, yet I have never received any statements/bills in the mail. I personally contacted the company via local phone number and was told I had two separate unpaid bills. The amounts were $6.21 and $48.51. Both amounts were paid by me through my bank on 12/26/23. However after searching my EOB's through health insurance, I discovered that NO CHARGES have ever been submitted by this company, therefore the bills need to be submitted to insurance first prior to my payment. Thus my "amount owed" will be greatly reduced by insurance, ultimately meaning I have OVERPAID said company. I have contacted this company multiple times through their website email system with NO RESPONSE. When I originally spoke with the company via phone I had asked for copies of the bills that they claim were unpaid. They stated they could not email them or provide them?? I demand remedy as refund for overpayment, copies of statements to show validity of charges and that charges were ever submitted to insurance as they were not.

I was sent a bill from this company and paid it on 04/14/22 they cashed on 04/19/22. Then on 04/26/22 I received my monthly claims processed from my insurance company, and it said I shouldn't be charged the $****** which I paid. I have called seven times to them resolve this issue and they tell me it's under review or a manager will call me back, as of today no call. ******************************************************************************************** I just want the $****** back from this company and they don't get it. I think something should be done, maybe they don't think $****** is no big deal, but it is to me.

I paid a bill on 1-24-22 to them for $*****. They cashed it but did not post it to my account. Finally, I took the time to go to my bank to get a copy of the check. I mailed it to them in March - 2022. They still have not posted it to my account and refuse to give me their address to physical building so I can hand deliver a copy. They keep sending me a bill every month and I better not see any hit on my FICA score ***. It better not be damaged by your company, or they will pay dearly.

My account with Radiology Consultants is ********************. I received service on April 1, 2021, at their ******** facility at the recommendation of my Primary Care Doctor. I provided them with my ******** Card, and **************************** Card. I have been repeatedly billed for $**** that they claim was not covered by a ****************************. I understand that this is a small amount, and it would be easier to just pay it and move on, but their billing system and communication (some place in ****) is horrible. I have tried writing them a letter and returning the invoice, but that got no response. I've tried plowing through their complex phone tree. Finally got to someone whose English was so broken that I could barely understand her, and, I'm sure she couldn't understand me trying to get her to bill ***************** as should be showing from my visit. Her final comment was that I should contact **************. I have refused to attempt any further contact, it would be a waste of a stamp. Yesterday I received a Default Notice for the $****. I hope the Better Business Bureau can help.

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/01/05) */ In order to release a response to the BBB for this patient's complaint, we would need for the patient to provide his date of birth, last 4 digits of social security number, address, phone number and his verbal consent to release a response to this complaint to the BBB. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/01/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) How sad! After a month, Radiology Consultants appears to think the complaint is about medical treatment, and they don't even supply a phone number to respond to. It's about THEIR BILLING ERROR! They have billed the wrong secondary insurance company. I have tried 4 times to communicate their error to their billing company in ************...twice in writing and twice by phone (which took a total of 1 and 1/2 hours). All I want them to do is bill my ************************************, which I watched them make a copy of, and not ******************. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2022/01/20) */ Again, in order for us to release a response to the BBB for this patient's complaint, we would need for the patient to provide his date of birth, last 4 digits of social security number, address, phone number and his verbal consent to release a response to this complaint to the BBB. We will then be able to respond accordingly. Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2022/01/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) All Radiology Consultants and their billing associate does is chase people around in a circle. That is not 'Customer Care". This the 6th time communication has been attempted to try to get the 2 of them to locate and correct their billing error. It appears they neither read or listen concerning a mistake they made. The simple fix is to just bill the correct insurance company. I have pretty much given up that they will do the right thing.
