I thought I was making a smart choice by choosing BB Roofing but I cannot say I would recommend. Due to my profession, I have worked with hundreds of building contractors in multiple states and no one has ever spoken to me as rudely as the owner of BB Roofing. Until issues were resolved, BB Roofing left me with sleepless nights and boiling frustration every time I walked out my door to see my damaged property and negligent gutter install. Issues: -Black and white apron mixed around my home, looked terrible and mismatched. -First set of gutters were extremely poor quality with pointed screws sticking out on the sides of every downspout. -Garage's southwest gutter installed to point directly at the neighbor's house a few feet away instead of following previous path down driveway. -Verbally discussed extension replacement on northeast downspout behind the house as well as by text during the contract review and it was not replaced. -Crew threw gutter guards on the ground in piles when removed and then hacked apart and installed extremely poorly. I requested they put on the patio so I could store in garage which was ignored. -Siding drilled through without asking if that was okay. Then siding was replaced and product has changed slightly so there is now a noticeable difference. Siding installed on southwest wall of house not secured properly. Had to request for someone to come back twice to move pieces so they would lock into each other correctly. -Repeatedly telling me I was wrong about how the north side of my garage looked which I have clear record of in the side by side photo. A nail and bulge were not there when the salesperson walked the property but appeared after the roof was replaced. I was repeatedly told there was no way BB Roofing would have done it. -I was rudely questioned, "Why are you upset?". -After gutters were replaced a second time, the area that goes under southwest side roof overhang was cut too low. -All the lost time and follow ups

I would like to apologize again for some of the mishaps and communication errors that happened on your project. I wish I could say that every project runs smoothly with no hiccups but unfortunately in construction sometimes things happen. When they do, we make every effort to go above and beyond to correct them in a timely manner. While we regret that in your situation, mistakes were made, we do feel that our response was appropriate as all the issues you mentioned were resolved within 6 days. While we wish it could have been even faster, there was a delay in receiving the new gutter guards as the company only has one representative in this area. Although there was a regrettable delay, the gutter guards have now been replaced.

You mentioned that we installed screws into your siding without your permission. Please understand that the standard industry procedures for the downspouts you chose, and to my knowledge all downspouts, are for them to be secured to the siding. This procedure is necessary to reduce the likelihood they will be blown off in the wind. Following standard industry procedures for all products we install is one way we ensure that our customers receive the quality workmanship we have become known for providing.
I remain proud of how our team handled the situation. All the issues were resolved in a timely manner. We take great pride in our customer service, which you had experienced and acknowledged to me in an earlier communication. We do regret that you did not find our response satisfactory, but I am confident every effort was made to ensure you would. Our efforts included making repairs to the damage we do not feel we caused as well as providing a significant discount.

It is an unfortunate reality in our business that mistakes will be made.
