We went to this business March 1st was told we were 14th on this wait list they had on a piece of paper. They then told us it would not be long to get a kitten so we gave the 500 dollar deposit to join the waitlist. We then heard nothing from the businesss when I reached back in April for lack of communication they then stated we were 19 on said waitlist they kept on a piece of paper. After my concern magically their website updated with this waitlist. I then still heard nothing today when I expressed how ridiculous and how much they lied to us all of a sudden cats became available. We would simply like our deposit back as it did not guarantee us anything on this made up waitlist. They have zero remorse and truly lied about almost everything.Business response

We have reached out to this customer, and she has informed us that she and her daughter have already purchased a kitten from another breeder and are very happy with their new kitten. She also has admitted she might have been "hasty" and a bit "overzealous" in her criticism of us. She suggested she might have been excessively "Mama Bear" in denigrating us for perceived injustice to her daughter, when not being able to provide a kitten to her in a more timely manner. We have offered her a refund of her deposit, and also showed her that in fact, we were NOT "lying", nor overstating, nor in any other manner attempting to deceive or confuse her. This appears to have a been a lack of communication between us, and we accept full responsibility for any part we have played in this. We hope she will redact her complaint, but nevertheless stand by our business practices and have offered to make this right with the customer.Customer response
