Please see the attached Exhibit A for a very detailed breakdown of everything that has happened. I had provided Chad the attached Termination Agreement to resolve the outstanding amount of money owed back to me. For the document - AS = Andria ****** and GC = Chad ***** with RCO, Inc. DBA Royal RC Construction. The short version is I hired Chad ***** to do a remodel and addition on my home at the beginning of summer, 2021. The project was supposed to begin on 9/21/21 and be completed on 12/21/21. To date, there has been a very small amount of work performed, evidenced by photos in the Exhibit attached. Due to repeatedly being put off by excuses, I ultimately terminated Chad *****. Chad ***** states I am violating a contract I have with him. However, Chad fraudulently presented himself as a General Contractor in said contract when, in fact, he was not currently in good standing and per ******** State Law, could not perform contracting services. Chad has not been in good standing with the State of ******** Department of Labor since 5/22/21 due to a lapse in his Work Comp insurance. Furthermore, Chad's bond insurance lapsed as of 9/12/21. Due to the fraudulent representation, the contract signed is null and void and a refund is being demanded. Additionally, Chad would have been unable to procure the permits required for this project due to his license being in bad standing. I am requesting a refund of $********* of the $********* that has been paid for a construction project that has not been completed. I am trying to offer a reasonable conclusion to the catastrophe that has been my experience working with Chad and would happily pay for the estimated 3% of the work completed. I have pages upon pages of emails and texts to corroborate this entire situation.
