A few years back I had placed a complaint with this company based on the aggressive, rude and threatening behavior the manager displayed with my interaction. I have to stumbling upon some updated reviews since then it appears that several other people have experienced similar or a worse situation than mine and wanted to bring it to your attention as these Folks should not be dealing with the New Hampshire public.

Owner Jack is extraordinarily Rude called client an idiot liar cursed them out and threatened the customer with police! Wouldn't let customer ask any questions kicked them out, even threatened customer to charge them 150 plus dollars because he "was losing business because of them". Client paid for all the dues that by contract needed to be paid.

On 4/12/22, I was in this business. I had picked up 3-4 items that were on a 40% off rack. When I was checking out, I asked if the 40% had rung up. The male owner stated, "these are not 40% off, these are full price." I said I had gotten them on the clearance racks at the back of the store. He said, "people move things all the time, these are full price, they don't have a black check mark on them." I said ok, I just want to check. I asked him to look at the racks, he refused. He then proceeded to get belligerent, and started to verbally abuse me calling me a "fat, old pig" I said I felt that the signage was deceptive. I told him I had checked the items on the 4 racks and none had the check mark. He continued to berate me, and continued to be verbally abusive. He then approached me and entered my personal space, I told him to back up. He continued to raise his voice, calling me fat, old, ugly pig. I have purchased items from this store for over 20 years and have never been treated in this unprofessional manner. I do feel that from his reaction to me questioning the signage, that this is a normal practice for him which is very deceptive. It is not the dollar amount, that was negligible, it was the deceptive selling activity and obviously his out of control behavior.
