Someone with this telephone number *************, keeps charging my Credit Card each month for something I know nothing about! On my card statement it just says: bargainbenefits ************* only!! I have no idea who this is or what it is. I googled bargainbenefits with the phone number on **************************** popped up with others going through the same experience? I told me credit card I know nothing of this bargainbenefits & why are they taking anything out of my account? So far they have received 4 payments as follows:1) $14.95 on 5/5/2024 2)$14.95 on 6/5/24 3)$4.95 on 6/27/24 4)$14.95 on 7/1/24 For a total of $49.80 for something or a membership (what the Credit Card told me it might be!) I have not or have ever received from them. I purchased one thing with the same information on it (Never saw this on it though, they added it after my purchase!) The ******************* said this is where they got my Credit Card information! But the thing is, I used my Checking account for that $4.95 approved purchase, NOT a Credit Card!! There was also a $55.28 purchase on the same day, with same info as my $4.95 purchase that just showed up right after my approved purchase?!? ( Paid with my Checking Account, not my Credit Card... again!) My bank refunded that $55.28 back to my checking account 3 days later. I just found out on this Website (BBB) what the real name of this company is!! Never heard of them, nor ever purchased from them. My Credit Card seems to think I went to their business & purchased & signed some agreement with them. Hopefully they can't take anymore from my account! Received a new Credit Card, and they are Still processing a Fraud case with Credit Card! Hopefully it can be resolved without any Court action.

      1. When I received my CitiBank Visa statement for the billing period ending in Nov 2023, I noticed a charge that I did not recognize: 10/30 BARGAINWEBTOOLS.COM 855-4465987 NH COMCAST CALIFORNIA 800-COMCAST CA $14.95. 2. I called CitiBank Visa to report the matter. The agent told me to call the company directly using the telephone indicated. 3. When I did, I explained to the person who answered that I did not know who BARGAINWEBTOOLS.COM is, what they did, and I certainly did not order anything from them. The person said that it was a computer business software company, and that she would investigate the charges and respond back to me. 4. I have not heard from either the company or CitiBank with regard to this fraudulent charge to my card. 5. The morning of 1/18/24, while I was checking my CitiBank Visa account, I noticed another fraudulent charge for BARGAINBENEFITS.COM. This time when I called CitiBank the automated Dispute Center advised me that this newer fraudulent charge had been resolved in my favor and that I would be receiving a $4.95 refund to my CitiBank Visa account. 6. NOTE: The strange anomalies between these two situations is the use of the word "Bargain" in the so-called company names and the similarities between the amounts $4.95 and $14.95. The major "difference" seems to be that the first one purportedly was in New Hampshire and the second one purportedly was in California. What is most curious is they both have the same telephone number: 855-4465987 and seem to be associated on a single website with "Big Daddy." 7. So, since these two incidents cannot seem to pass the smell test, I am reporting them to BBB, just in case some other customers have been victimized in what appears to be a fraudulent attack on credit card companies, banks, and bank customers.
