on January 8, 2023 we hired Stacey Tree Service to remove several trees in our yard. The ground was soft at the time. Stacey Tree Service acknowledged the ground was soft and did nothing to protect our lawn on the first day. The next day they put some material under the trucks to dissipate the weight of the trucks. After the trees and debris were removed we saw that the front lawn and back yard area of lawn had numerous 24 foot and 34 foot long tire tracks up to 8" deep. We called numerous times and left messages about the destruction to our property as a result of their negligence of driving their huge trucks on the soft ground. We asked for them to come and look at the damage. They have not responded. We will not be able to mow our lawn and it is a complete eye-sore. We are now faced with with the additional expense of having to hire a landscape company to repair this damage. Also, at the same time, while removing a tree and limbs on the side of our house, Stacey Tree Service snagged our powerlines for electricity and phone, tearing them off of the anchor point on our house. They left with out telling us and we had to call the town utility company to come and reattach the wires and re-establish our power. Bottom line we hired this company to take care of our tree problem, which they did but they created a new problem for us that will cost us a lot of money to repair. We understood heavy equipment would be used in the removal of the trees but we did not expect the extent of the damage that they left us with after they were done. Bad business ethics on their part.

I hired ******'s Tree Service to remove some trees from Conservation land.*** gave me a great price and was helpful in getting the towns permission to remove the trees. He did a great job cutting down the trees. When he was finished cutting the trees he piled all the tree trunks on my front lawn, on top of my water sprinkler heads. He told me he would be back that night to remove them. *** did not come back that night, so I expected him in the AM. By 9:30 AM, there was no *** and no call to update me. I texted *** stating I wanted the trees off my lawn and sprinkler systems. Waited and got no reply. Called his cell a while later and it went right to voice mail. Waited a while longer, but again no call. I called again, no answer and I left a voice mail. No call back. I then called the office and a very nice women answered, and I told her why was calling *** but being avoided. She reached out to *** and within 2 minutes *** called and asked me what my problem was. This response was very frustrating and i accused him of avoiding my calls. He said he was too busy to answer me. I told him he should be busy finishing my job. He then said ILL BE OUT THIS AFTERNOON to clean up and he hung up on me. He did come out in the afternoon and took the tree stumps, and did clean the mess off my lawn, but dumped all the trash on the edge of the conservation /open space land.We actually have video of him filling barrels with debris and emptying them on the conservation /open space land. When i asked him to clean it up he stated that this is what we agreed to along with the town. We did discuss that *** would not rake up inside the conservation land as it was all soft soil and water. After a conversation on text, he refuses to clean it up. It is not what was agreed to and *** knows it. I believe it is what he did because he was mad. Now he can make any excuse he wants, but anyone that knows anything about conservation land knows he would never get permission to dump trash on it.
