on January 8, 2023 we hired Stacey Tree Service to remove several trees in our yard. The ground was soft at the time. Stacey Tree Service acknowledged the ground was soft and did nothing to protect our lawn on the first day. The next day they put some material under the trucks to dissipate the weight of the trucks. After the trees and debris were removed we saw that the front lawn and back yard area of lawn had numerous 24 foot and 34 foot long tire tracks up to 8" deep. We called numerous times and left messages about the destruction to our property as a result of their negligence of driving their huge trucks on the soft ground. We asked for them to come and look at the damage. They have not responded. We will not be able to mow our lawn and it is a complete eye-sore. We are now faced with with the additional expense of having to hire a landscape company to repair this damage. Also, at the same time, while removing a tree and limbs on the side of our house, Stacey Tree Service snagged our powerlines for electricity and phone, tearing them off of the anchor point on our house. They left with out telling us and we had to call the town utility company to come and reattach the wires and re-establish our power. Bottom line we hired this company to take care of our tree problem, which they did but they created a new problem for us that will cost us a lot of money to repair. We understood heavy equipment would be used in the removal of the trees but we did not expect the extent of the damage that they left us with after they were done. Bad business ethics on their part.

This customer had a tree come down and damage their fence and pool cover. At this time they also wanted additional trees removed for the property. We used mats the best we could while we were in the backyard. The contract that the customer signed states. The damage to lawn is to be expected and will not be fixed by staceys Tree Service. It was explained that we would not come back to fix the yard and because of the work warm weather after a snow storm  that it would be harder to do the work. We have a signed contract and the contract states damage to the yard is expected and we will not be responsible for fixing it.

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/02/17) */ 2-15-2022 ******'s Tree Service PO Box 596 N Salem NH XXXXX To Whom it May Concern, I Dan S.****** state that this claim is bocus; **** ******* signed the Terms & Condition Agreement. Stacey's Tree Service did not do any damages to **** *******'s driveway as he repeatedly stated we have. **** ******* had no problem with anything until the job was completed. When it became time to pay, **** ******* resisted to pay for the job, with all kinds of excuses, my wife has the checkbook, can I pay with a credit card, and can you do any better if I paid you in cash. I had to chase him for a payment at which point he started complaining about his driveway. I told him, that maybe the damaged was when his neighbor's drove across his driveway, when they had cut up wood for themselves. There was no issue, until after his neighbor's cut up wood on his property. I told him if he felt that it was necessary, to bring me to court. But I am not having him putting in a false claim. Thank You Dan S.****** Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2022/02/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) He never sent me a contract period. I never singed anything. He did not have to chase me for a payment. When I seen the damaged property I was no t happy and I asked him what can we do about it? He said we can go thru his insurance I paid Dan in full and my records will show that. He said I would be hearing from his insurance company never heard a word. *** ignored all phone calls and texts to see what the deal was. He lied to my face and from what I seen on his Google reviews thus isn't the first time his damaged property and left people high and dry.
