My son's band trip was cancelled literally 8 hours before departure due to COVID in March 2020. We were told we would be getting a FULL refund this entire time. In May of 2020, I received a refund from our band association, not even from USIT, and it was for about 50%. We were told that if we just waited for another group to buy our airline tickets, that we would get 100%. So, we waited, and waited. Finally in March of 2022 I got a check from USIT for only 20% (which by the way - our new band students bought our airline tickets - so they got 100% on the tickets). I was waiting for the other 30% check, and it never came, so I was told to contact *** ******* at USIT. Initial conversation was January 2023 where he was extremely rude, telling me he's paying me nothing because he almost went out of business. I told him and sent him in writing that we were guaranteed 100% refund and he just states, it's not happening. I contacted again in March and then July with no response. I am showing I am still owed $331.65 which I requested refunded back, and have no response. I had to borrow money from a relative to pay for this trip, and now I have to pay $330 for nothing, when I was guaranteed if we waited we would be 100% reimb. They broke their contract, and owe the balance of my refund. I waited two years for my full refund as was promised, I should be granted that.

Back in November 2022 I signed up my son for a Band trip to Colorado Springs through US Integrity Touring. I had an agreed upon amouth of $863 which I paid in full. Last payment left my bank account 3/24. The owner of the company passed 4/4. Trip was cancelled. Then letter from attorney asked for $60,000 (extortion) more within a week. And said unlikely a full refund would be given. I called all vendors only 1 said they had a booking hold on 5/3 and cancelled 5/17. No monies were ever given. Where did all our money go and why can I not get a refund. My bank said they will not refund me because I authorized these charges. Yes I did. But there was no trip. Oh and the band was to go to the Chapel at the US Airforce Academy and possibly play. Well according to a Sergant there the chapel has been closed since early 2021 and will not reopen unil late 2027. Also, there is a large white box on it with a fence around it and we couldn't get close if we tried. This company DID NOT make any arrangements with any of these vendors. I would like to know where the Hell did our money go and I want mine back. I could not afford this trip but paid out of our bill money for our son to go. Now what? I cannot afford an attorney, but if I have to get one, I will need to sue for Refund, Attorney Fees and Court Costs and Filing Costs. Which is way more that my $863. Also, we had to deal with a severe meltdown from our son who could not go and who has Aspergers (high functioning Autism)

I paid $863.00 for my sons high school band trip. Well the trip was never provided and parents weren’t told until 2 weeks before the trip that it wasn’t happening. Now about 144 of us have yet to receive our refund. No one is communicating with the parents. I’ve called several times and sent emails. Then the company asked for more money. Doesn’t make sense.

On 1/6/2023 I paid $401.65 for a trip for my son to go to San Antonio with his school choir. The trip was set to take place on May 19-21. On May 9th USIT sent an email to the choir director and stated they would need an additional $12,000 in order for the trip to happen and that money needed to be paid by May 16th. They stated the reason for the extra cost is that the owner died. The email goes on to state that if the trip does not happen they will refund some of the money after 30 days and that it is unlikely we will get all of our money back. This is unacceptable. A contract was signed and we followed through with our part. If the trip isn't going to happen then 100% of the monies need to be returned.

I’ve paid $998 for my student to choir to Florida on a trip with his school choir. Now we get this letter. If the district doesn’t come up with $32,000 more than the agreed price, we can’t have our trip. And they say we will not be refunded. I’ve paid in full.

In late 2022 we signed up for 2 of our children to attend a Band trip facilitated by US Integrity Touring. On 3/27 the final payment left our account, a total of $1726. Unfortunately on the same day we because aware that our children would not be able to attend the trip and contact US IT. They responded and advised there would be a 25% cancellation fee ($431.50) so our refund would be $1294.50. They refunded $999.30 but have since been ignoring all correspondence. They do not answer the phone, emails, Website Form Fills, Facebook Messages etc. I would like the additional $295.50 refund as promised.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I heard from the company today and they advised they’ll be sending the missing refund next week.

September 26, 2019 I purchased a trip from USIT for my daughter to travel to Disneyworld with her school choir. The trip was scheduled for May 27-28, 2020. I paid $1635. I have been in contact with the company to get my refund for the canceled trip. They have paid me 1092.65 on May 12, 2020. I have not received any further payments since then. When I contact them, again, in December 2021. They responded with "The airfare will come in a separate check once I can recover the money from Southwest airlines. We have groups scheduled to travel in March and April, so we should be able to cut the airfare refund around that time. Rob" Which is what he has said for the last two years.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/24) */ Contact Name and Title: Robert G****** Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: ********@gmail.com Due covid-19 and the lack of school travel in 2021, our company has been closed without a business for 2 years. Most companies in this market did not refund 85% of the total package price as I am doing. I understand the frustration in waiting, but the refund will be made. We are a small company and Southwest AIrlines has been holding $250K of airfare paid for by my company since Spring of 2020. Now that groups are flying again, I am using those gifty certificate to pay for ticketing groups traveling this Spring. By making this issue public, it will do nothing to make her refund happen any sooner. When the funds are recovered refunds will be made. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The response from the company did not satisfy resolution. The company has done nothing independently to keep us updated on the status of the refund. It is only after constant communication from myself that they have given vague dates of when the refund will happen and it has been pushed back for 2 years now. The money was paid and should be available for a refund. The company is essentially borrowing my money for the last two years with out paying interest and without a solid date of returning it. Other consumers should know that this company does not have the capital to refund any payments should something happen. I paid for a trip 2 years ago that my daughter never went on and I haven't gotten the 85% refund we were promised. It is beyond disappointing.
