On 3/7/2023, I made an appointment with Concord MedSpa and was charged 51.75. I called to get information on laser treatments for sunspots/skin discoloration. They made an appointment for me for 3/25/2023, at which time they said they would be able to perform a treatment. I went to the appointment and met with Jessica, who started telling me about the laser and hair removal. When I told her I did not make the appointment for hair removal, she stated that it also works for discoloration, but that I would need a note from my doctor, a dermatologist before she could provide the service. This would have taken a matter of months to obtain. I took the pamphlets for the laser type she was using, and told her if/when I got the "note" I would contact her. Neither the pamphlet on the laser, Motus AX, nor any information from the manufacturer mentioned anything about using this laser type for skin discoloration. However, the bottom line is that Concord Medspa charged me for a service they did not provide due to their error/mix up, in putting me down for hair removal and not skin discoloration, and then had me take an hour and a half to go down for the appointment, when they would have required paperwork they did not ask for, even if they had the service available. I have contacted them by email and phone at least 5 times to refund my deposit, and have not been reinbursed as of today, 5/17/2023.Business response
