This person has tried all kinds of things including threatening us, trying to fight my contractor's at local stores, bad reviews, contacting the AGs office and so on. I tried to do all I could to make them happy, including costing me a lot of lost money, lost time paying contractors even when not being paid by them, bringing knew contractors in because they had issues with everyone and everything towards the end anyway and it’s still costing me tbh. They refused to allow us to finish (not us refusing to finish or walking away) and refused to make the agreed payment. We do not take deposits and not finish, in this case the deposits did not cover the end cost, especially being they still have a balance with us! they know this as well as we do and all of our customers know we do not steal or misrepresent or what ever big words they want to use today. we are absolutely not incompetent. However it’s funny that we were amazing until payment time came! Then we were incompetent. This happened over 6 months ago and for most of these months I have attempted to reach out many times to try to talk with them. Honestly we are still very confused on the issue in the 1st place. I even asked the AGs office when this person made a complaint there too. A matter of a fact I just tried a week ago to reach out to this person with nothing but positivity and as always they respond with hostility We even tried to give them more discounts just to finish the work, again in the end we try really hard because we don’t want a bad name, If we make a mistake i will be the 1st to redo it at my cost, because to me customers are everything to us, with out them what do we have? I’m not that kind of company, I would rather see it done right, with customers satisfaction always. If it cost me at times that’s ok by me. It’s worth it. We are human and make mistakes, but need to make it right if you do. That’s how we operate! But not in this situation because we were not wrong and no matter what They were all happy till payment time came! What they wanted was all the labor that was done to be free, all materials and supplies to be free, us to pay the 4 th set of contractors they hired , ( see we were the 3rd, the two before “messed everything up” seems to be a going thing with them) on top of that they want us to pay them $10000.00 Yea we definitely tried over and over, and this is a legal matter, and a personal decision they made to not allow us to finish yet accusing us of refusing to finish. We had 80% of there big house exterior painted, a bunch of exterior doors replaced and painting done, trim done and all the shed painting was done. Also the doors (3) that were installed inside, done. the 12 that we painted inside, done. the bathroom we finished, done. the entire inside of the house was painted and so much more, lawn care, landscaping all done. the list goes on. They just kept adding stuff even though I was not interested in the 1st place and they knew this, I felt bad about the other contractors that they said did them wrong. So we wanted to go the extra mile for them, that quickly bite us. On top of that they would keep changing everything, ask my contractors on site to do extra stuff with out adding it to orders, essentially trying to get it for free. This caused more issue being the contractors still had to be paid! I paid for it! This went on for about a month. We still tried to finish at this point we really wanted to just get it done and get out of there. But never once did we refuse to finish, or want to walk away. I have a determined personality so I never would of walked away. they refused to make payment on work done and reimbursements. Either way As they said they will continue to slender us just to try to make issues for us I  guess..
