The only good thing here is *** ******* I had an eye exam in February of this year. My prescription changed so I looked at frames for new glasses. I chose a pair and when I came in to pick them up the optician could not fit them to me. I kept them for a few days but they kept slipping and just did not fit. I actually looked at my old glasses and figured out myself what temple size and bridge size I need, The optician couldn't seem to do that apparently. So I chose a pair that fit the criteria and the display model seemed to fit correctly. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks to get them. When they finally do come in, they fit differently from the display pair. Hmmmm. Kept them for a few days but couldn't make them work. I go back. ******** agrees they don't fit correctly. I try on the display pair again and they are good. So. She puts my lenses in the display pair and gives them back to me. Seriously. After a week or so, I notice that the lens in the left side is closer to my eye than the right side. I adjust that and the frames creak. Kept happening. Well, heck these are a display and frame and who knows how many people have tried them on etc. It is obvious at this point that the optician cannot fit me. I ask for my money back. I had used Care Credit to purchase them. By this time I had made a few payments on the balance. For that reason I asked for a refund check. I was told only the practice owner, *** ********************** could do that. I dropped off the non fitting glasses and was left with no glasses containing my valid prescription. After calling a couple of times they finally said the check had been mailed. I never received it. They gave me grief about putting a stop payment on the check. After several more calls I was informed that they credited my Care Credit account. I had asked them several times not to do that since I would not have enough money to pay for new glasses and the place I wanted to go to did not take Care Credit. Very unhappy.
