Our Commission signed an agreement in February 2021 in which LMR agreed to conduct a financial review of our Commission accounts. It was verbally discussed multiple times, and LMR committed, that we needed a final review product by August 1, 2021 for a presentation at our Commissioner’s meeting. When this meeting was re-scheduled, we again verbally and via email discussed that we could move the date back until September 1, 2021. LMR again agreed that we would receive a final product by then. It never happened. Our Commissioners from seven States and five Provinces were all very frustrated and disappointed that this report was not available to them when they met in September. As was our audit committee. We received several emails from LMR in the ensuing weeks and months, and only after we initiated the communication, each time saying that we would see a draft in the next few days, or soon, or that they were still working on it. The entire job was estimated to take only 40 hours. These promises also went unfilled. It is now 9 months past the date the review report was due. and that we would have the final report. We still do not have a final report, even though, to date, we have already paid $3,383, or 77% of the total estimate, with no useful product received on our end. There has been no response or communications received from LMR after our repeated email and telephone inquiries for many months. We did not pay their last progress invoice pending receipt of a final product.Initial Complaint

I had hired Evan S***** of Leone McDonnel and Roberts PA to prepare business taxes for a partnership LLC I am part of which he did file at the very last minute. I had also asked him to prepare my personal taxes which he did not respond to, after reaching out again on 4/18 about preparing my personal taxes he said he didn't recognize my name and would indeed file an extension and prepare my personal taxes. I responded immediately with all the information he requested. This was the last correspondence I have gotten from him. I have sent multiple emails, phone calls, and voicemails for over a month since that correspondence and he has refused to respond to any of them. I have no idea the state of my taxes, or if the extension was even filed. For all I know I am late on my taxes and will be incurring a late fee for filing my taxes late. I have asked several times for a simple confirmation that he just filed the extension and he has not responded. Every time I call he is "in a meeting" I have left 3 voicemails in the past 2 weeks, and left messages with his assistant in addition to the countless emails and not a single one has been answered. I can't even use another company to prepare my taxes as I do not know if he has started anything and will attempt to charge me for those services. The unprofessionalism he has exhibited during this entire process is not only unacceptable but has put me in a position where my federal taxes have not been paid on time despite hiring Evan back in December of 2021.
