i signed up for and went to the workout 2 times before I hurt myself and had to cancell membership. I notified the owner on 10-27-21 that I was cancelling my membership. I notified him again on 10-28-21 that I was confirming he received my e mail about cancelling. He indicated he did receive it and would send me form. He waited until 11-1-21 before sending me the form so now he said I have to pay for 2 months extra because he did not get the "Form" until 11-1-21. Is it my fault he failed to send me the "Form" until 11-2-21 when I notified him on 10-27-21 of my cancellation? The owner will not work with me. I

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/10) */ As you can see by the 2 attached documents, ******** simply does not want to pay the final membership charge both associated with her membership contract, and that she agreed to in the 30 Day Cancellation Notice (also attached). I truly tried to work with her, but my hands are simply tied at this point. In my 6 years in business, this is THE FIRST time I have EVER had an issue. Within the attached document, on October 30th, she acknowledges the 30 day notice. Sorry Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/12/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) He took three payments 10/1 10/31 12/1. The person I signed up for cancelled the same date. She only made two payments. Why? Because when I cancelled on 10/29 mr D***** waited until 11/1 to cancel. His lack of promptness caused me to expend another $99 when I first told him to cancel on 10/29. He did not offer anything to compromise. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/12/22) */ She has ALWAYS (see attached document) been charged on the 30th. Also please see attached the 30 Day Cancellation Notice signed AND turned in on NOVEMBER 1st. Within that document (paragraph asterisked) she acknowledges and ACCEPTS the final charge. Not sure why this is STILL a thing. It could not be more cut and dry. Sorry that you are STILL dealing with this nonsense. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
