I went to the Tire Guys to get an inspection as well as put my winter tires on. They put the tires on the back, they belonged on the front. They also inspected it. My car needed an alignment as well which they don't offer that service. So I went to ******* for an alignment. To be told that I had a broken tie rod, I called the Tire Guys but they told me I didn't have one. I did in fact have one, they should have never inspected my car or let it leave with out letting me know that I needed a tie rod. Also with the winter tires on the back of my car it cause me to slide on the ice and get into an accident with my car. I want the money back for the tie rod and front tires that I had to replace because the broken tie rod chewed through my tires. It cost me over 300 dollars to fix. I have not have front damage to my vehicle because the winter tires should have been put on the front of my car not the rear. I can get pictures if that damage if needed as well. Thank you for your time. ****** ****** "I went to the tire guys to have them put on my winter tires for me. Which they did and inspected my vehicle. They did not tell me that I had a broken tie rod, which resulted in me having to get 2 new tires because between that and needing an alignment it chewed through my tires. They should have never inspected my car. They knew as well as I did that I needed an alignment but told me that I could drive my car 1000 miles before it would damage anything. I drove to work for 3 days which resulted in a total of 45 miles and they tires were ruined. I'm selling my money back for the tires and tie rod."

      Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/08) */ I offered to give the customer the money they paid us. They wanted more so I looked into it. They requested $80 inconvenience fee plus $450 for the work done to their car. Once I said we work with ******'s all the sudden the bill dropped to $350. We did a complete NH state inspection, and the car would not have left here with a bent and or broken tie rod. The car went nearly 300 miles not the 45 mentioned in the complaint, or the 20 miles he told me during our conversations. we talked to ******'s tire, and they said it would be hard to miss, looked to be from an impact or someone hooking onto it while being towed. At that point how long are we responsible for the car. I also asked if the car went off the road and I was told "no, I know what F***ing happened, I was driving " so was the car in an accident or not? plus we did put the tires on the front, as stated on the invoice. I also have pictures of invoices, conversation between us and the customer that contradicts what they are saying. once again sorry we had an issue, but we will stand our ground on this. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept their response. I did not talk to them my boyfriend did. They did not put my winter tires on the front and I was in an accident because of it. I don't believe that the tir rod was a result of it being towed. Because ***** told me first before ******* that I had a broken tire rod but they wanted 600 dollars to fix it. Then I went to ******* because they were to expensive.
