To whom this may concern, I (**** *********** brought my 2010 Volkswagen Passat to Seacoast Volkswagen on 8/29 to have them diagnose a squeaking noise. On 8/30 my vehicle was taken for a test drive and afterwards I was sent a statement that the front control arm bushings and the CV boot needed to be fixed. On that same day, I spoke with Cam, he stated that upon taking my vechile for a test drive, their master maintenance techician had an issue replicating the noise that I brought my car in for. I instructed them that the sound can easily be replicated/heard when driving through a roundabout. On 8/31 Cam texted me stating that they were able to duplicate the noise and it was diagnosed that the whole drivers axle, CV boot and the front control arm bushings need to be replaced. On 8/31 I gave them the go ahead in order to have this repair done. Due to them reciveing parts later than inspected, I was not able to get my car back until 9/7. I picked up my car on 9/7, I specificaly drove it through the roundabout on campus to check that the noise was gone and to my surprise it was still there. On 9/8 I spoke with Cam about the misdiagnosis on their end and I was able to schedule an appointment (9/13) for a ride along with their master maintenance technician to show him that the sound was still present... On 9/13, we performed the ride along, I replicated the sound while during this time and then they took my car into their shop to take another look at it. After waiting about an hour, service had confirmed that it was my right rear wheel bearing causing the noise. They are only offering me a 15-25% discount for the correct diagnosis. I want the correct diagnosis to be fixed, but I believe I should be refunded the difference of the misdiagnosis. I would also like to add that I had my vehicile inspected on June 25, 2022 by Mobile 2 U LLC and he did not note anything wrong on the vechile during the inspection... **** ********** brought her  2010 VW Passat with 123939 miles on it with a few issues. She complained of a grinding noise and a squeak. The car was diagnosed with a few issues. Most were safety related items like the Control arms. Upon completion of the work she drove the car home. She noticed one of the noises was still present. A slight squeak. The Technician went for a ride with her around a rotary and heard the slight noise still. This was different from the other issues previously diagnosed. This one is not a safety issue. As a onetime good will gesture We will fix this squeak at no charge to ***** We will not refund any differences as there was several issues that were addressed and fixed that need to be done and was authorized by ***** Please have **** reach out to me at the store or email me at [email protected] and I will set it up an appointment to get everything taken care of.
      Thanks you,
