Aeillo was recommended by ******* **** Company to connect the electrical for the pool ****** also agreed to put outlets in the basement and connect a portable generator/ transfer switch to the outside of the garage. Doug F**** of ****** Electric took back the invoice to update and stopped by one afternoon to collect the remainder of the bill. He said he would be out the next week to complete the basement and transfer switch. He never returned and is now claiming the $7700 was simply to connect the electrical to the pool. I have asked for an itemized bill and he has not responded. We are on a well and lose electricity often- meaning we cannot use the toilets without electricity. I believed he was returning to finish the job and I feel there is nothing I can do about it. I have had two other electricians look at the work and both have said the bill is triple what it should have been.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/19) */ In the beginning of June, we went to check out an underground pool wiring job for Gallant pools. After looking at the job and what it would entail, we had a verbal agreement with ****** that the cost would be $7500.. to wire the pool. On 6/18/21 she gave us a deposit of $4000 to begin the job. She was planning for a future pool house so we sized the panel for 100amps. The pool job finished (except the pool outlet and bonding the pool; waiting for the pool deck to be poured next year) and on 9/21/21 I sent her a message to get the measurement for the generator outlet AND to square up for the pool work (text pic) she wrote me the check and I was able to deposit it 10/5/2021 (remaining $3XXX) XX/13/2021 she sends a message requesting an invoice for the pool job AND a proposal for the basement outlets and the generator plug. On 11/8/2021 I sent her an invoice going over what we did for the pool, explaining the pool convenience outlet and equal potential bonding ring still needing to be done, etc. The invoice listed pool work at $7700 (added electrical permit) On 11/22/2021 she sends me a message requesting an itemized bill instead of my original bid invoice. On 12/3/2021 she claims the generator and the basement outlets were included in the pool price.. the same day she made her claim to the BBB. I have sent her the itemized invoice without charge. She clearly asked for the proposal knowing full well the jobs were separate. Now she's coming after my lively hood and my companies name claiming we're dodging her extra work. I don't know what other proof you need to prove she clearly knew the price of the pool was separate from the other work requested. She asked for a proposal after requesting the original invoice for the pool. It says it all. I would also request that she has the other electricians provide a written proposal for the same work that is 1/3 of the price for what I did. Thank you Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/01/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I met with Jeff R***** regarding electrical. He was the electrician suggested by the Gallant Pool Co. Not once was ****** ******** mentioned as part of the job. When I finally received the itemized invoice I now see I was charged for TWO master electricians (Jeff R***** ANd ****** A*****) to hook up a pool. The labor for two master electricians came to nearly $4000.00 (based on the itemized bill finally received 10 months after meeting with Jeff R*****). Expecting a homeowner to pay two electricians should have been disclosed before they started the work. I believe the moral thing to do is to repay 1/2 the labor. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/01/12) */ Again, this was a bid job with a verbal agreement for $7500 before the work even begun. A bid job means the price is established before the work begins. It doesn't matter if we had one electrician on the job or 30.. it was still going to be the agreed set amount. That how it goes for all trades/businesses. For her to say in the initial claim that I was recommended by Gallant but then the second claim says my company was never mentioned, speaks volumes. We, the electricians, were both there from start to finish. She's seen us both there working together from start to finish. She paid us in full because she knew the pool job was complete. I will offer her $200 back as a resolution for the issue.. to keep the number at $7500 that we had agreed on. Everything else is in concrete writing in my previous statement with pictures and time stamps go along with. Thank you
