August 2021 Placed verbal approval to begin Kitchen remodel project as quoted: $10,000 complete > Remove existing cabinetry > Order and install (14) NEW cabinets > Install all cabinets, countertop, appliances, sinks etc and remove all debris 1) Contractor never ordered 2 of the 14 cabinets even though they were paid for in full with $6,500 advance payment 2) Upon delivery of 12 of the 14 cabinets ordered: Contractor assured us the missing 2 cabinets were on back-order (no such back order was ever placed) 3) Contractor stopped arriving to complete the project and failed on two occasions to attend two previously confirmed supplier installs(counter tops, plumbing) We were then compelled to employ (3) independent contractors to complete project at additional expenses of approximately + $6,000-$8,000 than the original project quote High Tide Home never returned calls, texts to resolve this issue.......Contractor did TEXT message us of his intentions to remit $2,000 payment in response(we have copies of this text) although no such payments were ever made.
