Allied Clearwater installed a water softener that was serviced last year. The technician failed to properly connect one of the hoses which lead to a significant flooding of my basement. To date, Allied Clearwater has refused to provide an insurance binder or entertain covering my homeowner's policy deductible.Business response

To whom it may concern,
I will begin by stating Allied Clearwater never installed a water softener for Mr. ******* His water softener was a pre-existing unit in his home, prior to any work performed by Allied Clearwater.
Allied Clearwater was hired to complete a routine preventative maintenance on the well and water treatment system on 5/27/2021. Allied Clearwater provides a two-week warranty on all service work, which is clearly stated all of on our service orders.
Mr. ****** notified Allied Clearwater on 8/2/2021 of a few concerns, this was 67 days after our service was completed. The first concern, ***** hired a plumber to come out to his home, after our service was performed, to evaluate / service his water system. This was after we had suggested it had an insufficient cycle time on his pressure tank and he wanted to get a second opinion. His second concern was that after being out of town for a few days, they come home to water on the basement floor. At this time, Mr. ****** advised us that he called his homeowners insurance company (******* ******* and had that same plumber back, who made a plumbing repair. The plumber suggested there was a drain connection that was not secure. At this point, Allied Clearwater offered to pay a visit to the site, look everything over, determine what happed and evaluate any damages. Mr. ****** denied us this opportunity. Fast forward 406 days from 8/2/2021 to 9/12/2022. Mr. ****** called Allied Clearwater asking for our insurance information on 9/12/2022 at 10:31am. We were unable to speak with him at that time, but returned his call at 10:42am, 11 minutes after his initial call was made. We left him a voicemail for him to give us a call back to discuss his request and Mr. ****** never returned that call. On October 3rd Allied Clearwater received an email from the BBB regarding the incident and here we are.
