Complaint to be filed against Bresnahan & Ball Counseling Services, IB Commons Drive Unit 7, Londonderry NH 03053. (603)-965-6477 www.bresnahanandballcounselingservices.com for a refund due of $648.78 on money paid to them. I paid A total of $1650.00 in cash. Plus $170.42 from insurance company. ****** Bresnahan collected $1820.42. I attended multiple therapy sessions from February 2023 through June 1, 2023 with ****** Bresnahan. I asked up front if the provider was in network as it would be going toward my insurance. I was told yes. Cash Payment was required upfront per the provider $450 for evaluation and $100 per session. (No checks, credit cards or Flex spending accounts) After several months of noticing no claims were being submitted, I asked ****** to do so, the payments need to go toward my deductible. She told me to do it and submit for reimbursement from insurance company. I did and it was denied by the insurance since she had to submit them, not I. I contacted the insurance; they contacted her to clarify. She finally started to submit claims after being told to do so by them. I noticed she was overcharging me per the Explanation of Benefits EOB. $300.88 on initial evaluation and $14.79 per session. I asked her about it and was told "my fee is my fee". I contacted the insurance company again. They called her to inform her that she is not allowed to charge the difference per the agreement of being an in-network provider. She was told to issue a refund to me. She has not and it has been 3 months. She also got paid $170.42 on ck 1063 from insurance company in August for sessions I already paid cash for, this should have been refunded to me since she was not due any payment and I had already met my full deductible so should have paid Zero. I contacted the insurance company again. They called and informed her of her faulty business practices and told her to refund the $648.78 in overages (this includes the $170.42 as well as 12 sessions overcharges and evaluation overcharge).
