We paid trend moving to relocate our large home furniture from our current house, to our newly purchased home on 6/12/24. They put a large scratch on the bedroom floor ( these floors were just redone ) and damaged a table we had. We discussed the scratch, and the mover on-site reached out to the office. I was told by the on-site movers that someone would be reaching out to me within a couple days. I let them know that we had a walk through with the buyer for our old house tomorrow, and the damage to the floors , which is very noticeable would certainly come up. The recontacted the office and were told theyd take $ 100 dollars off our bill. ** stated that this would probably cost more than that to repair, so well move forward with the claim. Since that original conversation *** reached out weekly always been told theyre working on it and someone will get back to me on a couple days. I wait a week, call again, and get the same answer. I let them know we needed to have the damage fixed before the the sale is completed , and am constantly told they will put the in the notes. We are closing on our house next week, so we will have to pay for the repair out of our own pocket.

I reached out to the company as their original response had requested. I was no new information regarding my case, and to leave a message with the remedy team. I still have not received a call back or new information.

This company continues to avoid communication.

On November 21 & 22 2022, we relocated from Londonderry, NH to ** ********* **** ***** ***** ** *****. This is our new and current address. Many items were broken (some unrepairable) e.g. wine refrigerator, 2 reading (post) lamps, marble chess board, grandfather clock etc. None of these were brought to my attention. I had to discover the breakage myself. Additionally, when they left my Londonderry house, they broke the hydraulic arm of the storm door and left behind some of the items in the garage (including a ladder) that were to be moved. Fortunately, I was able to reach the office and they returned to fix the door and take the items that they left behind. I have discarded the broken lamps and chess board and will probably have to discard the wine refrigerator. The grandfather clock, hopefully can be repaired. I called the office to report my problems after the move and to complain about the fact that their employees should point out things that they broke rather than try to "sneak it bye" and hope that it is not discovered or that a complaint isn't made. On the call to the office, all I got was an apology and a comment that said the situation will be reviewed with their employees. Additionally, I was told that these type of situations were sometimes reviewed by a supervisor and that I might hear from someone. Well, I didn't! I waited to see if a call was forthcoming. When it didn't happen, I thought it was time to contact the BBB of NH. I always try to use local businesses rather than the large national suppliers. It is important to support my local community and the people that live and work there. In this case it was a mistake, At this stage I am not sure that Trend Moving and Storage will do anything more to resolve my issue but I think it is important that I am "on the record" so that others can decide if this is a supplier that they want to use. And also, for the company to instill in their employees an honorable way to handle mistakes.
