I purchased an inground fiberglass pool with cover from a Premier Pools dealer which had a contract completion date of June of 2022. Every step of the process has had problems and delays from the beginning. Throughput the last year, the workers have consistently left my property in an unsafe and bad condition with trash and half done work. They have destroyed the landscaping on over a half acre of my property due to spreading rock and dirt that they did not want to remove from the job site. I have had to constantly call and beg the owner to make progress. He says he will do things and then doesn’t show or call when he commits and small issues drag on for weeks and months. The pool has a significant leak. After he assured me that he fixed the leak and pressure tested it, I paid him the final payment. But within a few days realized he did not actually fix the leak. I have called him continually to come back to fix it, and he had made multiple commitments to show up but never does. In addition, I paid over 20k for a pool cover. He installed it incorrectly and inconsistent with the contract agreement which indicated that I purchased a grey cover plate. Instead he installed it with large stones on brackets which immediately began to fail and crack the cover mechanism. Within a few weeks of use, the cover is damaged and unable to fully open. I have communicated these issues several times and the owner consistently agreed to come and fix the issues but does not keep his word. At this point I have spent $125k on small pool that leaks and has a broken cover and have spent countless hours trying to resolve issues.
