I am filing a complaint against Veterinary Emergency Center Manchester with BBB (Better Business Bureau) for discriminatory treatment and negligence practices. Being new to the area and not knowing much about the facilities available to me, I had chosen this location ,initially , for its convenience. As my dog was in a dire condition in needing help. Unfortunately, my first visit, I was inconveniently transferred to this Location from a previous facility after waiting for 3 hours. Running low of fuel for my car and my desperation for my dogs well being (profusely bleeding on his shoulder from a dog bite) I had no other options. I arrived after 8:00pm and faced the same treatment. I was told they were busy and the wait time was 4 hours. Even after seeing the blood dripping from him , on me and onto the floor. Not to mention his lethargic demeanor and unable to control his bowels.we waited for 4 hours. We were brought into a room just about 12Am when they took his temperature and sent us back into the waiting room until he could be seen by the doctor. He wasnt helped or in surgically care until 2Am . After pleading for for his help. Once picking him up I was saddened to see how unsanitary and unsafely he was cared for. Upon my inspection, as seeing he was stapled and some were not secured. Yes, I did visit this location again in desperation and yes I received the same treatment to where I was told to leave as they did not have enough time . Being a animal lover and advocate I find their behavior ,their attitude and lack of professionalism to be appalling. I would not want anyone to experience the same. The Discriminatory nature .Not to mention hypocritical for the field that they are in ,for the care they claim to provide for animal welfare.

We brought our 14 year Rat Terrier in with major issues stating that she we believed she needed to be put down as we don't want her to suffer. From the time we walked in no one treated us with compassion or concern. We waited 4 hours and were finally seen. Dr. C****** came in acting like we were bothering her and dropped the DD's chart on her desk and asked what we were addressing today as there are a bunch of things listed. We again explained what was going on and that we need to put the dog down as we don't want her to suffer. She "examined" her and said that she had a dental infection and a heart issue and put her on antibiotics and pain meds and states she doesn't think the dog should be put down. 4 days later DD dies in the truck with my husband on her way to her real doctor's office. She drowned in her own blood. So obviously she suffered and she deserved better. When I called to discuss this, again the management was uncaring and useless. Judy the office manager even said to me "well isn't that what you wanted, your dog dead?" This place is disgusting and has no morals or compassion. DD did not deserve to suffer when she died. We went to this clinic as it's an emergency clinic in hopes they would help us prevent DD from suffering. I am seeking a full refund as they failed to do their job as "experts" and caused unneeded pain and suffering to DD and our family.
