Signed a contract with Evan Bastraw owner of ECB Precision Tile & Stone on 5/1/23 and gave him deposit with a check of $850.00. Schedule start date of 5/23/23 weather dependent. He did not start the work till because of the weather till 6/7/23 and he completed 95% of work complaining the whole time about the weather, his broken equipment and having to rent equipment, and that he underestimated the job. But that wasn't my problem! Paid him the $1000.00 due from the contract plus an additional $110.00 he requested for more cement. All in cash. Said he'd be back in a few days to complete the last cutting of the cement and it would only take him 15-30 mins. Have not seen him since. the past 3 months has communicated with us through text about he's busy and family emergency excuses and some of his texts( which I have)got nasty and now he must of blocked us cause he won't answer phone or texts. I called him from my home phone and he picked right up and when he heard my name he said he was up north and bad cell service and hung up. Need our cement work done so we can have our pool project completed. Also he advertises his business on **** **** through an account for ***** **** *his girlfriend) and has pictures of our pool project on there which I never authorized.
