Where as most often there is excellent customer service and quick answers. This at least a 3. They often times go over my over limits balance just to return item and still take there 32 fee by redesignating as a return item fee. If it weren't for the 3 hr drive I'd already have it closed.

We worked with Elizabeth B******* and the underwriters at MVSB for a loan against a property which we own unencumbered. This process was riddled with misinformation, misleading, and outright deception. Every time we were told something would be or happen a certain way, a day or two later they would be doing the opposite. Based on your earnings and credit, we can grant you 80% of your home value; receives paperwork at ~40% appraised value. No Appraisal needed; the Appraiser will be there Monday. Everything looks good, you can commit to that purchase, we'll get the final paperwork for you to sign; discover the loan is discontinued in the portal and they are unresponsive for a week. Ultimately we discovered the loan was denied based on information they knew from Day 1 (that we aren't sleeping in the main house while we have been doing cleanout and prepping to sell). What a scam. It seems Elizabeth B******* is willing to string anybody along to meet quota. Following the denial, we're moving ahead to sell the property. As consolation, E. B******* assured us that the Buyers would be able to use her at MVSB since they've already appraised the house and have no problem lending on it, which could accelerate the closing. If you're seeing the pattern, you already know that they denied the loan. The insane, deceptive, grossly unethical part is that they denied it saying the house needs repairs before they can issue a loan. The house they've already inspected and already said they have no problem lending against. At least this denial was fast and they didn't string us along for weeks. 0/10 stars. Strong Avoid. Notably, it may simply be that Elisabeth B******* is unethical and/or awful at her job, but why take the risk? There are plenty of lending options available.
