Corey M********, was hired and paid in full. To completely re wire our house, in February of 2020. Repeated excuses for not being able to come back and finish off and on for 2 years. Comes back does a little then leaves. MONTHS later and um teen text or calls( every time), he’ll show up do a little more. Then nothing, still has to replace smoke detectors, a couple special fuses the inspector told him that needs to be put in, replace the exhaust fan in the bathroom, put a light switch at the bottom of the basement stairs, put an outlet in master bedroom and put faceplates on some of the new switches. Sooo many empty promises, and as he says “ there’s only about 2-21/2 hours to finish “ again more empty promises more no shows, just come finish already. I’ve received no calls no text nothing from him for months again now. What can I do to get him back to finish what he was paid to do??Initial Complaint

Hired CLK electric to finish basement electrical in early 2021. He took a large deposit (over $2100) and did the base wiring in the basement. We were told we needed to finish the walls and ceiling for him to finish the job. Lifestyle changes prevented us from being able to move forward. Contacted Corey (owner from CLK) and asked that we use the deposit toward other electrical jobs we wanted done around the home. He initially said it wouldn't be an issue and he would get back to me. After multiple unanswered texts and emails and a lot of back and forth we finally scheduled him to come out April 4th. I texted him to confirm the day before and did not get an answer. The appointment came and went without any notice. Corey did not answer calls, texts or Facebook messages. I spoke with a former employee of his who recommended I file a claim against the new hamshipre board of electricians for leaving incomplete wiring in the basement as well as submit a claim through BBB to try to prevent this happening to anyone else. I understand we will unlikely see any of our money back, but if there is anything that can be done I would really appreciate it. I can upload pictures of email or texts if needed but it is difficult to do on my phone right now. Please reach out to me if needed.
