My chimney was built in 1963 and not to code. No problem for Admiralty Chimney! They came out, jumped up on the roof, went into the basement, took some pictures, and explained to me in layman's terms what was needed and the steps they would take to bring it up to code. The furnace now has a brand new stainless steel liner instead of venting through 60 year old bricks and mortar. These guys are good, very professional, pay attention to detail, always cleaning up after themselves and the chimney looks awesome! Do yourself a favor and gives these guys a jingle, you'll be happy that you did.Admiralty Chimney Service, LLC Response

We received great service from Admiralty Chimney. During the initial cleaning and inspection an issue was detected with the liner for the wood stove not being installed correctly. We have had different chimney companies clean our chimney in the past and they were the first to notice it. They took the time to show us the issue. On the follow up visit the issue was resolved and the liner was set up properly and fastened the correct way. We have run the stove afterwards, and it runs much better. The people who came over each time were very professional and knowledgeable I highly recommend Admiralty Chimney.Review from Susan E

John's team of Zach and Nick arrived to repair my chimney on the hottest day we've had this year. They set up their equipment and got right to work. They did a fantastic job of re-pointing and capping a chimney that's nearly 150 years old. It looks brand new now. They cleared any debris off the roof and cleaned the yard. We hired Admiralty Chimney to rebuild most of our chimney; approximately 10 feet had to be completely torn down and rebuilt along with many bricks in the lower section singularly removed and replaced. A liner was put in the boiler flue and a few blocks of the fireplace flue had to be replaced as well. The crew was professional, on time, friendly, and the work site was left clean at the end of each day. The mason, Josh, even designed a new top layer to help alleviate the problem that caused the extensive rebuild in the first place. The work was done on time and on budget. Our new chimney looks and works great. John, office staff, and work crew were amazingly easy to work with. We highly recommend Admiralty Chimney for chimney repair.Review from Laura C

John B***** came out to our property in May of 2022 to assess whether or not we could potentially install a new wood/pellet stove or fireplace. I was tremendously impressed by his professionalism and honesty . He showed up on time, he looked over the house and the room carefully, and shared his expertise on what he knew could work -- and what would be either ridiculously expensive to do, or simply a bad idea based on the space we were working with. While I wasn't thrilled to hear that the vision I'd had in my head wasn't workable, John's honesty and candor is going to save us a great deal of mistakes and money. Less honest folks might have been willing to go along with what I had in mind just to make a sale. He even directed us to other vendors in the area that could help us out with possible options that would work in space, and, advised us on our best options to talk to them about. I plan on taking his advice. I would not hesitate to recommend talking to Admiralty Chimney about future projects or recommend them based on this very positive experience.Review from Cindy A

John and his team showed up when they said they would. Every worker was friendly, and spoke to me everyday about what was going on. They did a great job cleaning up every day. Their masonry work they did is more than perfect and I highly recommend them to anyone having any kind of chimney issue. It was a pleasure having them here, I'm so glad I found them!
