      I purchased a 2023 Acura Integra from Sunnyside roughly one month ago. It turns out that from the moment I walked through the door my salesperson (Alex) was lying to me. I took him at his word that the car I was purchasing wouldn't put me upside down in the financing. I also took his word that my trade in was worth what they offered me. Both of these things could not be farther from the truth. I contacted the dealership 38 hours later and expressed my concerns. One of the managers (Austin) reached out and told me that the penalty to purchase my trade back would be 7 thousand dollars. He is currently "keeping his eye out for something that fits the bill". I did also receive 2 very condescending emails from Acura during this nightmare. basically saying that they're " sorry" that I was lied to butters nothing that can be done. one of these emails was from Dan R********, apparently he is the manager of auto remarketing. The other email offered to " assist me in the future". That was was from Michael K**** then senior sales and leasing consultant for Sunnyside Acura.

      I have reached out to ****** **** to discuss his transaction and his misgivings with purchasing a new car. I invited him in so we can explain in detail all facets of his transaction so he understands and is comfortable with the result. I am waiting on his response as to when and how that meeting will work best for him.

      I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because 

      I received a voicemail from a gentleman named Ryan.   I have returned the call multiple times and my calls have not been returned.   I eventually reached out to a previous contact that I had from the dealership and got the same story as before.   Basically saying that I would need to incur a 7 thousand dollar penalty in order for them to “ help me “.    I’m looking forward to working out something that is fair for both parties involved

      We have invited this client in again for further explanation. He met us to discuss this situation. We offered to buy the current vehicle back from the client at a high market value that includes $500 in equity after his current payoff. We also offered to sell his traded vehicle back to him for what we took it in trade for, plus the repairs we made that were necessary to make it retail ready. We find this to be very fair middle ground that is, frankly, in the client’s favor. He has declined thus far.
