I went to precision, really excited. I was getting myself a piercing for Mother’s Day. I’ve been pierced many times over the last decades. I also have a medical background. This was a horrible experience. I told him I wanted a longer bar. Or a hoop. He refused and told me that it would be worse for my ear. I told him I had previous experience and I know what I need. He was extremely cocky, rude, smarmy, and basically said he knew what he was doing and I did not. I shut down, after being talked down to and mansplained to. I went ahead and got the piercing anyway, and of course I ended up in the emergency department. Why? The doctor could even see the length of the bar was short for that area. I spent $100s on post injury care to avoid cauliflower ear. I calmly wrote to him, asking for a refund. He refused and told me he would refund the tip. So, I went to my bank. Initially the bank provided a refund. Months later, I guess this cocky, sexist psycho had finally gotten it together to submit some total BS case and steal my money back. I would even meet him half way with the cost of his jewelry. This was not my faultBusiness response

I received a notification of a complaint (#17595215 sent to [email protected]) brought by a client named ****** ******* stemming from a visit to our store in May. The client was unsatisfied with the outcome of their body art service performed on May 7 2022 and brought that to our attention. The client received a refund for the gratuity they gave to the service provider. The client then disputed the initial payment with their bank on June 16 2022 and we responded through our point-of-sales provider on June 22 2022. That is the last time we had any interaction with this sale. I don't know what communication the bank had with the client, but sometimes during disputes funds are moved from one party to another, or held by a third party. If the bank has made any resolutions on this issue they have not informed us. I have a general "expected resolution date" of August 22 in my POS records.. Whatever contact the client had with their bank further upset them. While we do sympathize with the client and see that they were unhappy with the outcome of their service we do not feel comfortable communicating with them further. We respect a client's right to file a complaint with the BBB but we do not wish to further inflame the matter. We are waiting on the bank's dispute resolution process to finish. If the funds are returned to our account we can consider additional refunds of the service fee, but used body jewelry can not be refunded or returned due to public health issues.
